| We're one of their feeder clubs aren't we? Well they probably think so!

| Its happening, the game is going ahead so why fight it?
Not sure what the interest would be but if they are going to promote our game on the Sunday surely that has to be a good thing.
Personally despite it being the mighty dragons I could not bring myself to go and watch the pies, and I will still be up north after RAF v RN in Lincolnshire.
Interesting that Wigan have opened a pop up shop in London to push this, if it promotes the sport of rugby league in London and we can get anything from it then it has to be a positive, its better to be involved than not and if we get 3 supporters from it that an increase of 1%
With where we are at the moment I would have thought we would take any help thats going as well.

| I'm going if just to help RL in the capital by bumping up the numbers by one + watching some decent SL live in London is a bonus over the LB Champ games I've watched all year at The Hive. Off the the CC Final too.

If they'd wanted to work together perhaps our game could have been a curtain raiser to a double header?
Whilst I would take any help from whatever quarter I can't as a Broncos fan see my way to support financially an event that will benefit Wigan, nor can I as a West Ham fan support an event that could make money for Millwall!
C'mon Catalans, time for an away win! Pity it wasn't last Saturday, South London temperatures were almost Pepignan-esque!

Ok whatever you say (can I watch the rugby on Saturday first please)
Does that apply to Wigan RL and their fans only or all non London Bronco Rugby League fans in general . ie The 70,000+ who will turn up over the Bank Holiday Weekend (myself included) and boost our great sports profile in the Capital City . Oh ! and the thousands of England Rugby League fans (plus 2 Scotland Rugby League Fans from the other Capital) who will turn up in "your city" in November ?
Just wondering . Wish you were a bit more specific .
Regards , EW

| The attendance is going to be really interesting, not sure about the ground they choose to stage the game.

| I think the biggest advantage to us Broncos fans is getting to buy tickets to the Hive for only £10 with the promotion code LRL. I have bought 2 extra tickets as friends of mine won't go for the normal high price that it is.
We can then take some extra fans and the Hive doesn't get to line their pockets as much!

Please God NO to that we would look even worse than we do now, it would show how far we have fallen
I really dislike the Pies and will not go to their ground but why castigate Ian Lennigan for leaving the Broncos. If my memory serves me well from a discussion I had with him he wanted to stay with LB but the RFL would not allow him to have a shoe in both camps. He is a Wigan born boy so he would always want to pursue his dreams and own the club. We all have dreams we want to follow but following LB is a dream not working at the moment.

The Den might be situated in a grotty part of London but it does still constitute a stadium.
Unlike that glorified park pitch St David of Hughes is moving us to.

| To be fair, we got pretty reasonable crowds when we played at Charlton. That was when they used to put some effort into marketing the club.
Remember there were even £5 entry vouchers in The Sun newspaper back then.

| I first started watching Broncos as I thought it was great to watch some top class league in London. This may be my only chance this season, I will be there.

Yeah sure, we seem a million miles away from SL level and more nightmare than dream, hadn't realised that I had castigated IL, well at least not his time! BUT IF this game attracts a few new London speccies wouldn't it be good for them to know that there was a London team ( albeit a Championship level one) where they could get an RL fix? Even better to have seen them play ahead of the main event? Or maybe not in present circumstances?
Seriously though this is what I would consider as being 'working together'. At best we might have an ad in the match programme, or maybe even a few flyers given out. This is a top flight game on our manor and I can't see us doing much to promote ourselves at it, other than this cheap tickets for Wigan fans offer. But then again self promotion hasn't been our strong suit of late eh? All I can see is this match promotes Wigan ( and fair play to them for forward thinking- I never thought IL was a fool) and shows young London players that there is a pathway to the SL - just involves a few hours drive up North! If this game is deemed a success will Wigan keep an an office in town so they can keep an eye on their feeder club?
