Jamie Thackray has signed up for another season. I know he is getting on a bit but he certainly does a job for us at the moment.
Would he be good enough if we made Super League though ?We would have to get there first.
At least we are planning for next year.

Good news this one he has been a workhorse for us.
If by some strange freak we made it to SL the squad would have to be built up quite significantly but I suspect that would be same for any team going up

It is, I agree. But he's running hard, scoring tries and providing linebreak/try assists. He's giving much better value than Moimoi, Lauaki, etc. I wouldn't swap Thacks for anyone else in the division - perhaps only Adam Sidlow. When he arrived, I didn't think he'd get more than a temporary bench slot whilst Slyney and Riley were injured.

Personally I thought Thackery was outstanding. Cahalane was better but I thought Thacks was just about the pick of the London players.

Mr Thackray was superb last night at Halifax, breaking line and doing the real tough stuff, even Murrell was shouting about getting all game, proper pleasure to watch and did not budge one inch all night, full credit to him
