| No one watches the game.
The game is always on first like some sort of warm up act.
Wouldn't it be better to play the fixture in development areas in Europe? And leave the northern teams in their backyard.
There again probably won't be an issue next year.............

| what a pathetic post
maybe London hasn't worked although they've produced some good young players the sport really hasn't took off that well enough in terms of support base.
Catalans on the other hand have a very good support base nowadays but to expect them to travel to every away game is a bit stupid just like your thread.

| errrr maybe because its magic weekend and all the games of the round are played in the same stadium! That's the plan!
If you take London Cats to "development" area why not take Hull and Hull KR back to Hull
Or Saints or Widnes games in to north wales

| All I am saying is that while all of the other games seemed well supported the London v Catalan game is normally played in front of a near empty stadium.
The Magic weekend seems to work well for the northern teams but not the other 2.

| More to the point why put the London Cats game on first? Two teams wth the longest distance to travel!
Why post the question now after the event?
Certainly the right venue but both teams could have played different opponents or at least played each other later in the day.
Bigger issues now and time to ask what plans are being made for the club's future, which if handled properly now could be brighter than anybody dare think....

| And actually there were a lot of people watching our game - bit of a change admittedly - so neither "No one watches the game." nor "played in front of a near empty stadium".

| I am not a troll, been following the club since the Fulham days, admittedly not a fully signed up member of the clique that seem to infest this forum

| Can confirm that scimitars is no troll. Made the mistake of identifying him as such a few years ago. So he ain't.
Actually his initial suggestion is worth debating though academic in view of the near-impossibility of our being involved in next season's Magic, wherever or whenever it is.
