Raised this before (wrongly last time). Can someone correct me this time.
We now have 6 players on loan, RFL maximum is 5. Do we have a dispensation from the RFL or are we 'storing' players on full pay to make sure we always have 5 available?
Foster, Duckworth, Foster, Minns, Cunningham, Greenwood.

Tony Rea addressed this issue at the Fans Forum. There are ways of having loan players who are not strictly on loan. He didn't go in to detail, and it wouldn't have made any sense if he did, but this new loan signing doesdn't surprise me given what he said. We will certainly not be breaking any rules.

im wondering as we have suddenly signed his guy out of the blue and we were meant to to have said we be making announcement of a new signing on Friday, that perhaps this has fallen thought and that the player was a prop who was coming. then again could also mean, we are still going to be signing him just going to take a long time with visa, so have got this guy in has cover and to make the numbers up.
But glad to see again we have gone for players whos clubs supporters rate highly and wish him luck and want him back at their club. this to me is always a good sign that we getting a player who make the effort just that that bit more knowing their home club want them to improve for their sake as well as his

| With our first game on Sunday im glad we've signed him in time. As its for a month my money is on him being here coz they know the visa issue isn't going to be resolved quickly and isn't Nick Slyney here recovering from an operation for a few weeks before he can start playing so he will be needed. When he returns to Saints the rest will have to step up. This hopefully will give the team a lift as well as he will be fit from training with Saints  |
