"That wasn't a kick, the was a pass with his foot!" Brian Noble making Andrew Voss lose sleep: |

| Ten working days so just after the World Cup final but broncos played a cynical move announcing it wembley week.
I hope something comes up for the club and it does not involve Mackay or Hughes in any way shape or form.
I'm not optimistic though

| Sad to say Id suggest you are right not to be optimistic.
What timing though.

| Is there the possibility a buyer might be found if the club are in admin and debt free?
Hope you survive as we need a club in the capital.

Being rich is one thing, having a brain to make it work is another. When you are daft enough to appoint Powell and continue with the pathetic and charmless Gus Mackay then clearly being rich is not enough. Betting on oil, gas and LNG is one thing but moulding a club and culture is another. And let us all face facts over the last 5 or so years the clubs family feel has been decimated. How many actually ever bothered to stay after the match compared to say the early SL days? I certainly used to enjoy Friday nights and beer and a match, but in recent years chopping and changing between Sat or Sun has had a real impact. I found myself going to the game, then straight home and it was not due to losing but more to do with feeling not wanted by the mgmt. mixing with the payers and listening to the band etc. was all part of the experience. And we know which d1ck 'ed killed that.

| Hughes and Mackay should be ashamed of themselves. Hughes has not proved as good as his word. And isn't it just typical of these comedians that they bring out the bad news in such an important and positive London week.

Comedians? You mean clowns! Yep, like all politico's bury bad news amongst good news. May be we should give them the benefit of the doubt and they may surprise us with a shiny new owner loaded to the hilt. We can but hope!

| AFAICS someone would be buying a club with 1/3rd of a squad, no ground, 1,000 supporters and almost certain relegation at the end of the season under the current rules (viz. limitations in recruiting overseas players and a likely 4pt deduction).
That makes a likely buyer to be either a rich fool besotted with RL in London or the RFL. If the RFL wants a SL club in London, it will need to decide to run the club itself or change the rules so it makes business sense to a potential buyer.

| Sad news, as a Wigan fan I have always enjoyed the away day at London. And as a Rugby league fan London I feel has done a great deal for the game.
Hoping you get a good result, and we will see you in the coming season

The only part of that that I can disagree with are the "1/3rd of a squad" which is wildly optimistic. Not too sure of the 1,000 supporters now either.
The only way out seems to be the exit door.

Lets just put something straight right now, without Hughes the club would have gone bust years ago, he's made mistakes but he's made them while keeping us afloat.
