"We genuinely have some bad knocks, we're not resting anybody this week. Witt (calf) Clubb (knee), Robertson (hip and knee).
"Soward has a back injury, he's travelled from Australia, he's travelled to France and we've had a long trip to Sheffield because of the bus journey. He's done a real lot of travelling, he's stiffened up during the week, given his workload and what he's been asked to come in and do his back was un-trainable today, so there was no way given the number of miles he's travelled there was no way he could compete in this game safely.
"The first thing we said after the Sheffield game was that we'll do this game right. It looks like to everybody that we've rested a heap of players, we haven't, they couldn't play."

Nature of his back injury is not disclosed (what a surprise) but Soward was apparently standing up for a couple of hours this morning in the Walkabout, watching SoO. Perhaps standing his prescribed therapy? Or perhaps not.

What sort of 17 can you see from that list? Still a few pack players but must admit I'm playing a guessing game with some backs / half backs.
As one of your lot said earlier though don't blame you in the slightest!

I dont care if Clubb is injured or not I would not want to see him in a LB shirt again. When he is healed send him to Hemel I really dont want a player who doesnt want to be with us wearing our shirt, what good would he be - he doesnt want to be there so if it were possible he would put in even less effort than normal. I dont want someone who publically disses the club playing for us I dont want a captain without leadership playing for us, he is fed up of losing because the team dont put the effort in but I wonder if he was so disillusioned he forgot to collect his pay.
