| I read that a moment ago. If they move outside of London then it's a joke.

| I hope something turns up and we stay in London, Orient is OK for me but the pitch is really too small for league. Brentford would be ideal, good atmosphere and then share their new ground. I for one will not go to Gillingham.

| I keep thinking of ground and unless I'm forgetting somewhere there just isn't a good option. Brentford would seem to be the best of a bad bunch. Does anyone know what Barnet FC are planning on doing after Underhill?

While Gillingham would be much easier for me to get to the Broncos have to stay inside the M25 surely?
KEEP LONDON IN LONDON - any money in the kitty for a new flag? Black background, light blue letters - displayed at home games so DH, Gus etc can see it clearly?

| All the signs pointing to Gillingham are not good - another lost ST holder here is that is the case. If we have to move, then Brentford is surely the best option....

| It's nice to see the club actually making a decision on something.
Oh wait.
No they haven't. This is just Gus Mackay telling BBC London that he's 'in discussions'. Wonder if they'll be concluded before the end of the season?
I await the announcement with relish. What ramshackle football stadium will we inhabit next? I'm already looking forward to my pre-match pint in Leyton. Or New Cross. Notorious rugby league strongholds, both.
Let's disregard the fact that The Stoop is geared up to play rugby all year round. Disregard the fact it's a modern, all-seater facility 20 minutes from Waterloo and easily accessible by road. Let's also forget that the club has put next to zero effort in actually engaging south-west londoners to part with their hard-earned and turn up to watch.
Underhill? Have you actually [ibeen[/i to that place? Give me strength....

| The key phrases for me are;
'What we are looking for...'
'There are a number of dicussions going on with various venues...'
This to me means one of two things, either we're in shtuck cos no b*gg*r wants us or they've already agreed in principle to go to Gillingham but knowing the supporters' attitude to the move, they're trying to con us into believing that it is regrettably the only thing possible. Remembering the move back to Crystal Palace from Chiswick, where they tried to make out it was a last minute decision by announcing it at the last home game when they'd apparently agreed to move back in the previous December, I'm going with the second option.

| I will not go to Gillingham and we cannot call ourselves London.
Brentford is the only sensible option?

| Utter tosh.
"It is top of my agenda." - how about doing your b****y job and get bums on seats and an alternative investor to help/replace David.
"Mackay feels it is right to move away from the ground in Twickenham, west London" - good for you - trouble is it seems like 99% of the fans don't feel that way!
I was hoping that the Prison Warder would continue his normal pattern, 2 years at Nottingham, 2 years at Sussex and 2 years at Surrey but sadly we are going into his 3rd year. Tell you what mate - rearrange the deck chairs while we sink!
Oh well a monthly trip to Perpignan for Dragons home games next year with one or 2 visists up north to watch them, it will be "good night from me" if they move to Gillingham.

| Interesting that the warder totally skirts the question of why we need to move. He is so out of his depth and seemingly heading this club towards extinction. His interpretation of the Gillingham as a success game is ridiculous (but we all knew it would happen). This was a one off game in a stadium where the attendance at football give would give you a huge frickin' clue that it is not a viable prospect.
One possible saving grace is that I suspect he is actually incapable of finding an alternate venue, despite it being the number one thing in his in tray.

| Has the BBC just picked up on the article in the new edition of Forty 20 Magazine? that seemed to say we were looking at a London venue! the BBC piece says Gillingham was successful, but not enough effort was put into the other on the road game!

| Listened to it in full on the podcast - no valid reasons for moving other than Quins RU brand is different or some such phrase. No Sherlock - so are football clubs!

BBC piece is based on Rammo's interview with Gus last Friday as I understand it.
