Thankfully, the club are putting on live music in the Kings Bar after the game. So at least we can have a bit of atmosphere when we celebrate our win. (Hopefully !!)
The Broncos website has stated that the players presentations will also be in the Kings Bar at the same time, so if anyone has a point that they wish to put to the players, surely this would be the place to do it.
As long as you speak to them in the way that you would want to be spoken to yourself, I have always found them willing to debate their lack of form or winning ways.
We're all too quick to debate the form of our players on here, so why don't more of us take them to task when we have the chance ?
After all, they're only people trying to earn a living like the rest of us & are all willing to take criticism or praise when appropriate, if approached in the right way.

How condescending you sound. I don't think we need to be told how to speak with people, you dont speak to them or at them. Most of us can speak correctly on our own without being told how to

However personally I have little interest in stalking the players. I watch them for 80 minutes on the pitch and that is it.

I don't think Bronco Billy sounds condescending at all. He is making a good point that if you've got something to say, just go and say it rather than just moaning on message boards.

I'm only trying to suggest that instead of people putting their views over on a forum, they actually speak to the players concerned, in a genial atmosphere.
Unfortunately, in my experience of post match celebrations/commiserations, a few of our fans just chose to pass their opinion of the game in a very curt way & all I'm suggesting is that the players are only ordinary people & if you engage them in that way, they will give you a very honest view of how they have performed.
If I come across in a condescending way, that is not the way this thread was meant to take. I'm only trying to get fans to speak to our players & find out how they feel.

Face to Face, on the phone, via text, via email, facebook and on here I have never pulled a punch when it comes to the club....I resent the "keyboard warrior" comment.

I mentioned to Gus a few months back when the club last played at the stoop .......that the team should be MADE to be present in the Kings bar. He alluded to it not being his decision, as the players via Powell had requested to DH not to be made face the fans
It would seem that the review has concluded that the team need to confront their demons (the fans) to get an understanding of how their abject performances are pi55ing everyone off.

If that is the case then good,however the Player's player award may involve only a good performer manning up in the bar post game.

I said it before, but the players reluctance to appear in the bar because they didn't like it when they lost was a sign a weak management and a indicator of what was to come this season.

Newsflash, this is professonal sport, not a friendly Merit league team. If people pay their hard earned to watch the current shower, they should be allowed an opinion without being expected to have to go and chat to the players after the game to express it. However, i'm sure Craig Gower would be man enough to accept that his performance versus Hull FC was unacceptable.

At the end of the day, I find it a little embarassing that our supporters seem to expect the players to be there to chat to. I haven't come across it at any other side in any sport. I really couldn't care less about them, as long as they do the business on the field. That is as far as it goes for me.

If the players don't want to chat to supporters after the game, that is fine by me. I think it is pretty disgraceful that some posters believe that the players should be forced into doing things post game. If they have had a bad game and are obviously disappointed, what good is it going to do to have someone (who probably doesn't have a clue about playing professional RL) wittering on at them, giving them a pat on the back, "bad luck" "great effort today mate" etc?
