| Didnt get here until the second half. so was surprise not to found a link for todays game.
Anyway sounds like losing out to lose balls and dropped balls again. Two Hudds trys from this so far.
Score: Hudds 18 Quins 4 (could be worse hudds only kicked one conversion )

| The lads have given up. To be honest I'm not too bothered, we always get panned at Huddersfield, hopefully we can just chuck the ball around a bit in our remaining home matches and play some decent rugby.

| Listening to that. I cant say that teams are beating us just we are letting them beat us by just giving up the ball in silly places and dropping when in a postion to score. Half of Hudds trys (and Saints last week) came on the back of us givng up ball and letting them just run with it. You get the idea that when we drop the ball and the other team pick it up that they waiting for the ref to stop play becaue of it instead of trying to grab ball back of floor or tackle the player.
I'm all for this throw the ball about style of rugby we trying to play. but if its working in training like Dave willimans said on the commentry then whats happening as soon as they hit the pitch, because from the sound of it they are leaving that in training and turning up not knowing what to do when it matters on game day.
Its getting embrarrssing hearing the commmentaor time and time agan say we have dropped the ball and gifted the other team a try... Lets just hope next week it sticks in hand and can at least get some sort of win (but i wont hold my breath on that happening).

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| Very disappointing.
Sounded like we had the most possession in the first half and made a couple of good breaks but couldn't finish them off.
I must have put the mockers on the team, as I said to Mr DSWG at half-time that it sounded like we were very much in it and at least we weren't going to get a shallacking.
How wrong I was...
On a positive note, sounded like Clubby had a good game.
Oh well, bring on the b & w's.

Don't kid yourself. He didn't - he just wasn't as terrible as he has been recently.
Another wretched display. Team lacked direction, had a farcical completion rate, defended poorly. Once Danny Orr and Jones-Bishop went off, the writing was on the wall.
No doubt the believists will come on here talking about how its a young team, lots of British lads, not their fault etc etc. Fact is the team is really incredibly poor. What is the point of Ryan Esders playing 12 minutes of a match? He didn't look injured so I can only assume he was taken off for being rubbish. Which he is.
Orr and Jones-Bishop do their best to carry the team. Sharp wasn't awful. O'Callaghan and Gale continue to look out of their depth. Gale, on more than two occasions, threw passes wide without looking, one of those occasions resulted in a knock-on and a Danny Brough try. He was abysmal.
I don't know what insulted me more; The ineptitude of the performance or the fact that the dozen or so fans sat behind me decided that it merited applause at the end. If you think I'm clapping that you're sadly mistaken. Madness.

| With Catalans picking up a couple of points lately, we might finish at the bottom of the table at this rate.

| i was actually dissapointed with Quins today i predicted a clsoe one before the game and at half time was been proved right but the 2nd half you were absolutely terrible and looked like a saturday afternoon amateur team, we finsihed our chances off but we played pretty poorly ourselves - i couldn't understand why the fans applauded the team off after that either - if i had travelled that far to see my team play as bad as that i certainly would'nt applaud them - anyway credit to the lads n lasses who did come up !!

| I don't want us to finish last because we have never done so previously. But if we do, then it will be accurate.
Quote: The Penguin "No doubt the believists will come on here talking about how its a young team, lots of British lads, not their fault etc etc. Fact is the team is really incredibly poor.'"
Not so…
rlMcDERMOTT
Quote: The Penguin ""Our completion rate was only 27 per cent. That's a ridiculous statistic.
"We don't normally talk about completion rates, because our style is to get the ball and play it around. But Huddersfield got into us and stopped us playing.
"After 30 minutes in the second half, we hadn't completed a set. We had a completion rate of zero. That's a credit to Huddersfield for the way they played.
"But I'm immensely proud of our young players. People will look at the scoreline and think we got beaten pretty badly. But I don't think the players did a lot wrong.
"In terms of where we want to be five years from now, the club is heading in the right direction, with a lot of good young players who have British and London accents."'"
To me it sounds like these comments are designed to keep up whatever confidence the players may have left.
