Why he was only appointed as the England coach yesterday?

The thing is, the team were losing and people were out.

So was it the coach's fault all along?

Think about it, was he crap and then all of a sudden wins a couple and can beat Wigan?

I've seen a couple of coach's lose their jobs over here cos their team was poor. They are always the first port of call in the sacking department. And, yet, it was the team that were shıt. ‘Once they've crossed the white line, there's nothing I can do’, to quote Gary Freeman.

So whats changed then Mick? the team fundementally are the same with one or two returning, the coaching staff are the same, yet consistancy of performance and results are surely what act as the KPI's.

You and I both know last nights result, while fantastic [and from all reports a result of good play from Quins as much as poor play from Wigan] can only be viewed as a blip unless it is repeated week in week out, and any fool could see that sometime during the season Quins would do what every other team including us has done every season past and got a "shock" result against a more fancied team through whatever sets of circumstances bring that about.

However that does not paper over the long term results and performances from the team while under Mac's head coach stint and results such as this could be seen as despite of as much as because of.

So again the question for you to answer, whats changed?

People were defending BMcD recently saying nothing could be achieved with the players we have. We are clearly capable of more than losing week in, week out.
