With the comments from some fans on other threads about "leaving early" or having enough, together with the Saints depleted following due to the £25 ticket fiasco, could this be the begining of the end?

I for one will be worried about an altercation between Saints fans and the Union lot (being serious here)...and if that happens, which code do you think will get the blame

Doubt it, most Saints fans who go down there, and I hope some don't take offence to this, will be diehard League fans. I don't think any will be looking for a fight, if anything I think there will be a mutual respect for each code.

I believe it involved alcohol, but every club has a few idiots. Let's hope the stewards are on the ball, because even if it's one person ejected for something like smoking, the union lot (and maybe the press) will have a field day.

I can't really see there being any problems. With regards to the game, I was speaking to one of the people who runs the coaches through Saints and she said she had 14 people signed up for it and was struggling to get any more.

Meaning what? I am not stirring it if that's what you mean, I was simply pointing out that disgruntled fans + alcohol isn't the preferred mix. Add to this the conception that Union fans have (see above ref to CAWI) of league fans and I pointed out that it was possible that not everyone would be happy. There was trouble a few years back and the Union fans at the time were up in arms.......do the club need any bad publicity heaped on top of what is already turning into a disasterous season?

As thread drifts go, that's up there with the best of them. 12,000 miles away and it still hurts when the team I support continue to cock-up on every front and I am of the belief that this double header has the potential to be a massive fiasco.

Everything else involving Quins RL this season has been a total fiasco, so why should the Saints match be any different?!

It cannot go wrong as there will not be many in the ground come the league game.

The union match will go as per every other game they play.
