Im planning on going to the Wigan away game, does anyone know any decent hotels to stay in?

Avoid the Quality Hotel. This is where the council put up all the homeless etc...

Try the quality inn near taybarns in Marus bridge.

Given the present state of the team you must be insane taking a day off and going up to Wigan. Take a leaf out of the player’s book, stay at home cos that is what happened today, and no fire nothing, just embarrassment.

I will always support the team even when we are in the championship (because at this rate...we will be)

Seriously I am not suggesting you don't support the team, but it is time the support that is still left makes it known that it is time for a change and that should happen now. The current bunch doesn’t deserve the commitment shown by the few hardly soles that travel thousand's miles each year.

Yeah, I'd recommend the Brocket too.

It's not exactly in the town centre but it's just a 10 min walk away as is the stadium.

The Brocket is a good, popular pub/hotel in a good area with a good atmosphere.

The cabs in Wigan are great too. They effectively pay for the priviledge of being in the company of such affluent Southern customers.

If you're lucky, you might even get picked up by a certain Greame West who is now a taxi driver around town.

And if you're very lucky he might show you where he buried the last person not to give him a decent tip

There is a Premier Inn just off the M6 at Orrell, not far from ground by car or bus.
