| If you could bring back any 3 players who has played for us as Quins or Broncos, who would they be?
I'd bring back McLinden when he was injury free, Retchless, Danny Williams.
I don't know why i picked Danny Williams, but we miss that sort of enforcer, and if anyone could have a good influence on Louie to keep his progress going, he would be the perfect role model imo.
And i remember going to Leeds away in the CC years ago, and singing 'Theirs only one Danny Williams' when their was one playing for Leeds at the time
Im sure their would be better players to bring back rather than Williams, but right now I can't think of one.

| Jimmy Dymock, Shaun Edwards and Rusty Bawden.
Three players who played brilliantly through pain and don't even think about losing.

| Peter Gill, Shaun Edwards and Sam Stewart, three out and put winners to put some grit into this club.
If I'm allowed one more then Mark Riley, my favourite player from my early days following the club.

What would Peter Gill do for us?! We don't need yet another back row player. Tell me more about Mark Riley.

| we need outside backs who can create and score tries so Greg Fleming and Scott Roskell, plus Dymock to toughen up the forwards. if we could chose 4 then retchless would be the fourth

Gill es all over the back rowers in the current squad. Even when he was unable to train or barely walk during the week he was still a massive driving force in the team and pushed everyone else to perform above their natural levels.
I've edited my three to incude Sam Stewart instead of Mark Riley. But Riley was a dynamic little scrum half who caused problems for every defence. Didn't get on with Gary Greinke though, who was a ****, so was released by the club. May or may not have been able to play in the top flight if given a chance but he was dynamite and my favourite player, sot that's why I originally included him.
But Gill, Edwards and Stewart would have this squad of players whipped into line no messing.

Your foul language doesn't impress me. Peter Gill doesn't address any of our current issues. Our back row is fine.
Thanks for the info on Riley, he sounds decent. Who is Sam Stewart?

| Good thread and damn hard.
First 3 for me would be Dymock, McLinden and Roskell, but Edwards, Moran [and when playing to potential] Barnet would have to be there or threabouts, Steele gets a place anyway

I wasn't trying to impress you, you're really not that important. I was simply expressing an opinion. And the current back row is anything but fine.
Sam Stewart was a Kiwi international, captain of Newcastle Knights, and then followed Tank Gordon over here when he became coach. Captained London Crusaders to Old Trafford and was a monster on the field, who led the team by the scruff of the neck.
That's what this team needs, it's too nice, but Gill, Edwards and Stewart wouldn't stand for it.
