Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.

Alot of agents use us as bartering cards; saying to the club that the player wants to go to that Harlequins are interested, look it says so in a national newspaper. ie rlhttps://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/rugby_league/article1246566.ecelrl
Unfortunately we can't seem to go high enough in terms of wages to join a 'lesser' team.
I do reckon out of the list most of those players chose their respective clubs for reasons more than money; trophies or the realistic challenge for either SL or Challenge Cup honours, others we have not followed through on.rl] |

That's a pretty big point.
The salary's most of the players are on means moving house is a pretty big step and should they ever leave (contracts are only around 2 years) then they will have to move again, disrupting their family.
Much easier to stay where you are and have a choice of clubs to play for.
Equally, we have no history, lore, and are constantly in danger of going bust.
Plus they get the privilege of having fans like Rupe and Storm |
