| You have a half decent chance too, Cas have a fair few injuries and seemed like a beaten team
as soon as they entered the pitch Sunday.
A good start and who knows?

| Cas's form's been so variable this season, that either side could win by 60(but I'll go for us by 12).

| I felt that Castleford were the weakest squad of all the established clubs at the start of the season.
Aside from Rangi Chase it was difficult to name another quality overseas import.
They looked to me like last season's Harlequins 'rag, tag and bobtail' side mashing together young fringe players with declining veterans from Huddersfield Giants.
As the season has gone on they have released quality in Brett Ferres, attempted to sell Rangi Chase and also released the mercurial McGoldrick plus they have four other first team players retiring at the end of the year.
The quality they do have is in their club trained players - two good Hookers and a couple of fringe England players - but you get the feeling they are winding down and we have a good record there so I think we can win for sure.
Our squad has much more quality in it and I'll be there hoping to see us on form.

| Cas normally have a really good squad of local juniors. This season they dont seem as solid as in the past, never been full of big names but their packs have always been organised, fit and tough. We can beat them.

| Ref's Dicky Silverwood, so there should be plenty of stoppages to allow people to get a beer or have a leak.

......If he gets us another win from the last 3 games I would recommend kidnapping the bloke......it goes to show what could have been rescued from 2012 if DH/Gus had accepted their mistake in March......

| ... and TR's next next task is getting a win against a team that's not in the bottom five in SL.
Remaining opportunities:
17. Aug - Wire (H)
31. Aug. - Saints (A)
8. Sep. - HKR (H).

I wouldn't bet against him achieving that target either!

| We may yet finish 12th when you look at the other cellar dwellers fixtures.
Widnes have Hull (Home) Wakey (away) and Wire (home). You would think they may have another win in them (thought this would be Hull until their good win against Cats this week).
Cas have a tricky run-in ..Sts (A) Catalan (H) and Hull (A) and current form would suggest they may not get another win.
Our best hope is getting a win in our last home game and with TR at the helm, think we've got a good chance barring injuries to key players.

| Talking of new the new coach, it's the last date for applications today.
Wonder how long before we hear anything? Guess if we're interviewing Aussies over here, could be quite a long process.
