| After Workington on Thursday we play York on Sunday. I cannot see us getting anything up there to be honest.
Then come Dewsbury. An important ten days or so that could see us climb out of the relegation zone. Or not.

Wonder if the team will be staying up North after the Workington game, the fixture planners haven't been kind to us with 2 long away trips in 4 days.

| Would have been pretty bad whoever we played due to the PL eviction. Be cheaper to make 2 trips unless they camp on the moors & forage for berries one suspects.

| Bottom line is we need to win 2 of those 3. Ideally taking points off Workington and Dewsbury.

| Dewsbury game is more key, we have to win that. If we lose to Town it won't be end of the world, but losing to Dewsbury will relagate us

| Ok that doesn’t look like a strong 21 to me. It looks like we’ve hit our first injury crisis and if you think about what.we’ve served up before now this is quite worrying. They will do well to avoid a tonking.

Few academy lads in the squad.

| No manager.
No new recruits.
Radio silence from management.
No home games for ages and then it’s Rovers who even if they rest half the squad will spank us. Leigh and Fax also coming down the tracks-ditto.
Seemingly unable or unwilling to bring in any of the many SL/ top end Championship players currently not getting game.
Due respect to youth but what looks like a weaker squad for York than we put out to disastrous effect in the first few games of the season and another massive season defining game only a week away.
Really, really difficult to see a path here. This has gone just about as badly as it could have done and as predicted. What are the positives? The comms is now back to an acceptable standard and (ignoring free/ heavily discounted tickets) home gates are up, possibly around 900/1000. A game in Kent which may raise profile there (although the journey from Kent to Wimbledon is not likely to mean a big upswing in attendances going forward).
V.Poor.

| Dan Hoyes is 18. At the start of the month he was playing for Hemel RU in Herts u18 RU County Cup Final. A talented lad, I hope he goes well.

| I read on the Broncos website that, "Last time Broncos took to the field against York, it was a closely fought encounter. Despite York claiming the victory, Broncos represented a tough challenge for them".
Funny if I remember right, we were 30-6 down at one point and only got a few more points as they tired. In truth we were rubbish on that day. We had a much better team then too.

Actually I think you may be misremembering. Understandable as all these dispiriting losses meld into one but in fact we only lost by 2 points. Having said that your basic point is right we were never in the game and never looked like winning. Now 2021 York were one of the few teams we spanked them at home although they beat us comfortably on the last day of the season ensure we didn’t get into the Playoffs.
