I think Nobby is exactly right for London at this time. He will help to steady the ship and develop a style of rugby which will be basic in it's approach with the intention of grinding out results. London still have plenty of time to make the top 4 and with Nobby on board they will do. I don't think it will be attractive but it will be all about the result. I doubt the crowds will flood in to revel in attractive expansive rugby. He also has loads of useful contacts in the game.

I think this is an excellent move, despite past comments and an unhappy spell with Salford. He is an astute coach, knows players, and i think will add a lot

Can't say as I'm too over the moon about this, sure he's got the profile and reputation but I think as a coach he's been in serious decline for a number of years. If this is true then I hope I'm proved wrong.

Rob, it's not as if we seem to be flooded with offers. The bloke has got a proven track record, I would not be that surprised if he left salford because he probably told the Dr some stuff he didn't want to hear.
With a bit of luck, assuming it's a true rumour and he does come, between him and Hendo they can instill a bit of the mongrel spirit that's needed in the comp we are in.

Don't see the appeal personally, feel fairly non plussed about it. Pants at Salford, average for GB, did well with the Bulls about a century ago with an amazing squad of talent.

If true, good move because of his many contacts in the game and his media profile, quite high by RL standards. I'd hope he sticks to using those assets on our behalf and leaves Hendo to look after the coaching.

Its a good move, he likes a challenge and doesn't suffer fools gladly, maybe that's why he is considered arrogant. I spoke with him for a long time when he came to Brentford and he was of the opinion that a well run London club is a good thing. He will ruffle a few feathers - bring it on
