| "Car park spaces will be reserved for season ticket holders with car park passes until 10:30am, after which time the parking will be available on a first come first served basis."
I don't have a car park pass but I reckon I would be pretty pi55ed of if I had to be at the ground a minimum of 2 1/2 hours before the game otherwise my space could be sold on.

| Sorry your wrong, I spoke to Gus this morning and asked him to put this message out for people who had paid for the parking pass. The club were going to let anyone park from opening time. (I did point out that we had a contract with him to supply a parking space as we had already paid for it)
So not the landlords this time.
Yes, you are right I am not happy about having to travel from Hertfordshire to claim my parking space so early in the morning.

| I am furious I dont want to sit at the ground for over two hours, I dont have the free time and I cant get an answer as to whether or not if we have to go to the other car park will our parking tickets be valid. Just something else we have paid for that is not being delivered

Fucking farce.
Edit: Other than the comment I made above which pretty much sums up the running of the club in recent times perfectly, I was wondering why the club chose to email their entire e-zine database with this car park fiasco rather than maybe taking the opportunity to call every ST holder, explain what was happening and offer them 2 free tickets for mates by way of an apology for denying them the parking space they have paid for, unless the ST holder was prepared to turn up for Breakfast at the Stoop?
The 2 top of the range Telesales guys/gals could quite easly have done this over 3 days, it would have gone some way to softening the blow and could actually be seen as the club trying to do something positive for the loyal fans....or is that just me expecting too much from them?

I was going to post a comparison on the London Broncos on the road games and the NZ Warriors taking their first ever home game on the road later this year......I decided not to, because I didn't want to be accused of Gus bashing again and if I am honest,he's doing a grand job of it himself!

| Don't expect much from the club but a space to park in that I've paid for after a 160 mile drive is not too much to ask is it?

We are a business that pays another busines to use their facilities....either
a) we signed a contract that let's them treat us like this,in which case I blame the CEO
or
b) we arejust letting them do this because we don't have the backbone to stand up to them, in which case I blame the CEO.
The Stoop is the best Rugby Stadium in London other than the big house across the road. If we'd tried at any stage to fill it, then maybe a "supposed" rent increase wouldn't have been a problem.

| Not impressed at all. I did email Gus asking how can the club expect people to turn up so early. Not so bad if U19's playing but they are not playing until after the seniors. In fairness i did get a quick reply. Gus advised he was having to work with police etc, do not see why reserving car park spaces we have paid for is anything to do with policing. If car parking limited due to army navy match, tough we paid for our spots so people should look elsewhere. We are now coming by train as we dont live far a way. If i got there at midday in car and was not allowed to park car i would probably end up in twickenham nick by 12.05 i am that angry about it. However i intend to see Gus after the match tomorrow, well i see he sits in front of boxes and will be demanding my fiver back for the parking space i paid for which i now cannot use. Probably be in twickenham nick by 2.35 pm then. End of day its only a fiver, but its the principle of the whole thing....
This season attractive benefits of a season ticket -
Non competitive team to watch every other week.
The legends lounge where you can pay twice to get into ground if season ticket holder. Hence felt excluded, principles again
Esher / Wycombe (as had season ticket, obliged to go to home games at extra cost in time and money)
Now this car park shambles.
Is there any point in having a season ticket ???
You are treated as a nobody even though you parted with cash before a ball is kicked in apathy. You know what wont be happening next year, not in this household. Enough is enough..

| I am starting to believe that they don't care if they fans off because they are getting another clean slate in 2014.....if The RFL do offer central funding, then unless they have a complete clear out in the back office, top to bottom, they may as well set fire to their investment. Personally, I wouldn't let the current administration look after anything more serious than maybe running a pub football team, but even then, the Hoists seem to be better run than the broncos at present
The post above mine should be a warning to the RFL.......Londoners may well enjoy RL, but whilst they are being treated like they are at present, they are leaving in droves.

I totally agree with you, I bet DH and Gus have there car park spaces reserved for whatever time they rock up.
The club Know how many of these tickets have been sold and should have that amount cordoned off. If by our ko there is spaces left then sell them.
If they want a club left at the end of the season they really need to pull their thumbs out their ar5es but i feel the damage is done

That says a lot, how may rugby stadiums in London then are you comparing with? the car parking fiasco is just the latest since we returned to the ground, how people blame the club is beyond me, sooner we leave the better, I feel it is more than just the rent, we are not clearly wanted!
If this latest fiasco is from the police?? how many car parking spaces do we have that have been purchased? I bet it is not that many that it would create a problem arriving between 12 noon and 12.30pm!
