| Luke May's contract is not to be extended, good or bad idea?
Personally, bad idea, whenever i've seen him play he's played well.
It's clear he was going to go, the amount of time he has spent sitting on the sub's bench without getting across that white line onto the pitch was embarrasing.
He shows alot of promise, and showed a lot against Warrington on friday.

Likewise, as with countless others who frequently seemed to be in the 19 man squad but never got any Superleague game time, even when they were in the XVII. This includes a lot who were brought in from other clubs. Doesn't mean they'd have made it, but just seems odd to involve people to that extent without giving them a real chance.

| A legacy of the McDermott era - stick with a losing team irrespective of how they perform
As with a number of other players, if your face don't fit, you don't get played.

| May is 21, surely he should be given time to develop. The only other centre at the club is David Howell. He has shown enough quality that he is a potential SL player. Not sure what he did for Doncaster and London Skolars.
Hopefully if it is true it will be a Lamont Bryan situation, where we call upon him to play first-grade.
The truth is either we are getting a proper class centre, or there is no money available to keep the likes of May. I prefer the first option, but hope that May is retained.

He had left because he wanted more money then what Quins were offering, iirc, thats what was said by himself to a fan, and then he came back after he accepted a lower wage later on.

| The difference with May is that Lamont was able to continue playing with the reserves - May doesn't have that option.

I'd like to think he would get a game at Skolars, if he wasn't needed at the Stoop.

| Is the problem not that he is too old to play Valvoline Cup except as one of the 3 overage [layers (over-21), and not being considered good enough to play for the first team regularly it's being seen as better for the club to pay an under-21/-18 with a view to bringing them on?
