It'd be perfect really. London would hoover up the top English players & the spine of the England team would be pitting their wits every week against the best the nrl can throw at them AND they'd still be playing here in England - in front of us!

I'm not sure which of us is guilty of taking it seriously? But logistically it's just about feasible and is therefore open to some theoretical debate. Do you go around your local telling people at other tables to shut up because they're talking bollox? And if so have you ever been chased down the street by pool cue wielding beserkers?

yeah I'm at both this year and was at the Patriots v Rams game last, which was sadly tarnished as a spectacle due to the result (extra for me as I'm a Rams fan  ) but otherwise a great event. strongly advise you to brush up on the rules before you go and catch a few games on tv (sky/channel 4 sunday nights) if you can, you'll get a lot more out of it if you actually have a clue what's going on.

It's about feasibility and it's not remotely feasible therefore it's nonsense. Yet some will cheer it under the "thinking big" label which generally means uncritically accepting any flight of fantasy. |
