| I remember a few years ago Cleveland Browns (I think) fans went to their home games with brown paper bags over their heads. Then I think Reading fans (including the chairman) wore pants on their heads one game.
What say you all?

| I suggest we do the Poznan when the team come out and at half time and at the end. If enough of us do it and we tell the press we could force some response. At least it will be something. The players do not want to speak to us at the end of the game, then we will do the same. If enough people sign up to this we could get the press interested.

| Seriously, if something doesn't happen this week and we get tonked by Cas, are our fans just going to shrug their shoulders? We need to make a statement that shows the club that we care and that we will not see it destroyed through apathy and bad judgement. As it stands I would rather watch the Skolars. The club will have to move if the press get interested and the RFL will not want any embarrassing publicity about one of its perceived pet projects. Any sensible thoughts on how to do this?

1. Why not walk up to DH and convey your concerns directly.....he doesn't bite.
2. Why not walk up to Gus and convey your concerns to him as well....while you're at it, ask him where my 2 Broncos shirts are
3. If the club and the 2 gents above don't reply with a reasonable answer, I would suggest emailing them and letting them know that you and other long suffering fans will be boycotting future home games......let's face it, they can't afford to lose 1 fan, let alone a few die hards.
4. Get Rupe1 to explain where the missing thousands are

| I suspect Powell will go today. Even in "Bronco land" there has to be a change. The quality of play is wearing thin on me. Ive cancelled trips to Leeds and Hudds away after watching the game on Fri and should we get hammered Sat then I will question watching the home games.
The product quality over the recent 2-3-4 years has been woeful. The team needs to be competitive

Cancelling away trips is the thin end of the wedge W-Q. If a die hard like you has started to have second or even third thoughts about continuint to follow the club, then the club need to pay attention to this.
We have less than 1,000 ST holders.....if this team don't win at least 5 of the remaining 9 home games then I doubt anyone will be rushing to come back for more of the same in 2013.......starting with the coach, changes need to be made now.
Make no mistake, another 6 win season (1 would be nice) with 3k average gates is not going to attract sponsors, backers or fans to the club......and 2013 is when the licencing circus starts to kick into gear again.....

| Fri night was painful. I mean painful. It was that bad at times you had to watch it to believe it could be so bad. Ive never seen a defence melt away like that ever at this level.
That team would not have beaten a championship team. No chance. The holes in the defence were so big you couldn't coach them in. Im talking 10 metre gaps between players that the Reds just waltz through. My misus said Ive never seen you so quiet at a loss. Thats because I was in a state of disbelief.

That's just a start. If the home performances dont improve (I can accept defeat I just want to see competitive rugby) then Im calling it a day. I've watched some rubbish rugby in my life (including some very poor Warrington teams) but this has gone below a level that is acceptable.
It truly is awful. The fundamentals that constitute a reasonable rugby league team are absent. Even the ability to pass the ball across a back line is missing.

Heheheheh. Good trolling.
I prefer the direct action suggested by others which will be far more likely to make DH/GM take note than an embarrassing chat or an unanswered email. Trouble is, there may not even be a 1000 there on Saturday to demonstrate.

We're not all Southern Softies: |
|
| I sympathise with you Wire.
I promised myself a retirement gift of going to every away game this season. After starting with the friendly in Perpignan, I have now visited Warrington, Hull & Salford. Unfortunately, I have pre-booked to go to all the matches up to & including Leeds.
Had I not done so, I certainly would not be wasting my time & money going to watch the dross that has been served up on the pitch by our team so far this season.
Hull & Salford have produced such a low ebb in me after the games that I would not have thought possible.
Having followed us since Super League started I can't bring myself to not attending the Home games so I'll continue for the moment but surely the team must have some pride in themselves & will take a long , hard look at themselves after Fridays performance & start to perform like a Super League Team.
Agree with an earlier post, a big up for Chris Melling & those that came over to the fans to applaud & shame on those players that skulked off down the tunnel too embarrassed by their performance.

| Gower was one of those that stormed down the tunnel when he is one of the biggest culprits. He is lazy in defence(lies around the ruck following a tackle), misses far to many tackles and offers very little direction in attack. I bet he wishes he was still in France playing the non contact form of rugby
