| I believe that the club were selling next years season tickets at the ground on Sunday. I did not see it myself but was told about it after.
It seems a bit early. I hope they learn from this season, when they sold seats before offering them to the fans who had had them the previous season. It certainly annoyed a few of us and I am sure cost the club money.
Not that I expect the club to be in Super League next season, if we are surely they would want to increase the prices, being that it is a bigger draw,
and would command a premium
Still this is The London Broncos.

Some soccer clubs sell ST early to regulars and if promoted its a bonus.
In the bigger scheme of things how many season tickets do you think they lost last year and how much does that transfer to in money?
We get approx 400 fans. Probably 200 ST. Maybe we lost 10% - do you see where this is going? Your whinging for whinging sake. Get on the phone, secure your ticket and enjoy your summer break. Your seat will still be there

They are sat waiting for your call in anticipation.
Ps did you use the words command a premium!
Tickets for the Warrington game possibly one of the 5 biggest draws in British RL are the same price as Batley dead rubber. Maybe you could explain that.

| This season we ended up buying just three Gold season tickets instead of the five that we intended. We bought five the previous year at the fans forum. As we could not get five seats together with a decent view and my son and one daughter not being able to attend all the games. We made that decision. The Club without a thought, sold my original seats and I had to relocate.
If this was a well run club. Which we all know it is not. Current season ticket holders would be given a period of time to secure their seats. With earlybird discount.
How many people bought bronze season tickets instead of the Gold this season, I know plenty that did. Next year we may well join them.

Maybe they will. You appear to be making huge assumptions and not really giving the team any credit.
I took a Bronze ticket as the view from the far side stood by the barrier is as good as certainly the silver tickets, and I can 'change ends'.

| I applaud the performance of the team. It is the administration of the club that I find fault with.

| How about this then with your excellent administration. At last weekends game, we took our son and two friends to the game. At the gate we handed over Voucher C and Five Pounds for each of them and they entered the ground and watched the game.
Great you will say. Three extra fans. Marvellous!
Move on to this week. These new fans, why not contact the and see if they would be interested in coming to the Warrington game for say Ten Pounds or even better still, buy a 2018 Gold Season Ticket for my seat in the grandstand. What a wonderful idea. Aah problem here. The club does not know who they are. Nobody thought to put a section on the back of Voucher C to put on an email address, so the club could do follow up marketing. It is so basic and this is where the club goes so badly wrong. I did my bit, dropped three people into their laps and they failed totally.
I would like to bet that the LBSA has a better and more up to date database of broncos fans than the club. It is certainly better run.
Just to add further, I did applaud the players on Sunday as I did the week before when we lost. I will always applaud effort, win lose or draw. So long as the players are trying I will give them my support.

| As mentioned on another post, contact a poster called Gutterfax and he will endorse your sentiments and also provide you with a 20 point promotional plan that was principally based around a few daffodils on the roundabout outside the Stoop.
Does the club have a marketing dept?

Maddy McDermott is the Communications Manager and her skill-sets would appear to be PR. Alas, a search of her Linked in profile shows her employment history starting off with 2 and a half years at the Melbourne Rabbles, followed by a 5 month stint at a PR agency before heading to the UK and working at IMG on the Tennis Desk before rocking up at the Broncos where she's nearly done 2 years. Her interests as shown on Linked include Rugby Union and Cricket....so we've an Aussie from AFL land who likes Union.....
Amanda Purcell is the Commercial Manager at the club. She has a high level of Sports knowledge, having gained her degree from a US private University. She has held a number of roles since gaining her degree and she's a pretty sharp Golfer as well.
Neil Reynolds is used as a match day announcer and he helps out with the 'MEDIA" when he can, but he is a freelancer.
So the short answer is that the club has a PR department and a Commercial Department as well as a bloke who does what Chris Warren used to do back at Griffin Park but no, no marketing department
The Club don't need a marketing department so long as it has someone in place to write the cheques.
As for the mention of the Marketing Guru from the past, I find it amusing that even after years of banishment, he still gets mentioned on here and the sign of a good marketer is that your message is remembered long after you're gone, so I am sure he'd be flattered by your comments.

| Welcome back GF I hope all is well in NZ. Your persistent rhetoric and 20 point plan will never be forgotten. I pass the Stoop on route to Ealing and still gaze at the infamous roundabout outside the ground and wonder what could have been, as I head to a back field to watch the current team.

| Not sure if it was meant that way, but it's the way it has come across that "call me dog" is having a dig at the certain folk at the club, with subtle suggestions that they are not qualified to do what they do, Maddy in particular.
The role maddy does was advertised openly. She got the role, The fact she come from "AFL" land and puts her interests as RU and cricket has nothing to do with her ability to do the role she is employed to carry out. I reckon if you ask any Aussie they would say the same, I have the pleasure of getting to chat with maddy quite a bit and she is as passionate about the club and as knowledgeable about our game as anyone, so I cannot see why she was singled out for specific interest.
As for marketing, we are competing in the second tier of a minority sport in an area miles away from the heartland of that minority sport. Who are you going to market too? Lots of our fans always were expat northerners who came to watch the bigger teams in the sport when they came, until we start playing those teams again those fans are not going to bother no matter how much you market the games.
Even the heartland clubs rely on away supporters, at the level we are playing and teams we are playing don't have that many home fans so we don't get the away numbers.
So let's be realistic would spending loads of our merge resources on marketing be worth it or do we spend the money on other things

As I said. The club doesn't need to market so long as someone is signing the cheques.
The biogs on the three staffers was nothing more than a way of describing what was being done on the promotion and revenue generation fronts. I am sure they all do a wonderful job, but once the writer of cheques is gone, then the lack.of planning to grow the matchday income may well mean the club will be unable to pay these people.
Great to see that the club is doing well and 600 or so hardy souls still bother, but at the risk of staying on thread, the selling of next years STs before giving current holders first refusal does seem pretty broncoesque in its naivety.

| Well if a season ticket holder was at the game last weekend when season tickets were being offered for sale, then they had the opportunity to buy said ticket, what's the problem?
