| Why have the club stopped letting everyone know what is happening on matchdays?
We had a good band at the last game and the away fans I met loved it in the bar and didn't have a clue that we have music after our games.
We should be putting this info on our website and not take it for granted that everyone knows what is going on (our after-match party used to be well-attended and there's been some great times although admittedly when we've had a win).
Furthermore, we used to get the info out to our oppo clubs and they used to put it on their websites.
If people don't know we have stuff going on, they won't come, simple as that.
It is not sufficient to put this stuff on Facebook (and that has only been occasional). Not everybody uses Facebook.
Come on Broncos. Get it sorted.
Oh and BTW, I would actually have posters at the ground on matchday too...costs nothing and may get us a few extra punters in the bar.

| Exactly right. On the few times that I have stayed after the final whistle, I have had a ball. I really do think that giving info to visiting teams, a while in advance, would get a few more through the turnstiles wanting to make a day of it.

We have had a band at pretty much every game since we've been at the stoop

| That's right, Darth but it's the best kept secret in the league (and only Widnes come close to what we lay on).
Yes, we know the reasons why the player presentations have stopped but it's a mistake. We should at least have some interviews with players especially when we get a win.
Of all clubs in the league, we need to find other ways of getting punters through the door and preferably spending.

The players didn't like doing it when they lost.

| Oh look. Another thread having a go at the club. But this time it's not about the players, coach, David Hughes or about you tube. It's about non-match entertainment. Apparently WE SHOULD be putting this on our website and designing and printing posters.

| To be honest I don't stick around for the party as I'm a real ale drinker and move off. However, they always used to have posters around the entrance to the away end advertising the post match party and plug it over the PA. I have no idea if the posters are now AWOL and can't remember if they are plugging it over the PA. If they aren't they do deserve criticism. The cost of running up a couple of A4 posters and plugging it over the tannoy and website would be covered by one extra away fan buying one pint realistically. People are paid to get the little things right, such as signing the right number of imports and advertising the match day events to away fans.

| Of course they should bluddy well be putting it on their website! How the blimmin hell do you suppose that people coming to the games (or those thinking of coming) are to know what goes on at a game? The great stuff our club puts on at a game needs to be advertised, thats all.
This wasn't meant as a having a go at the club but just a reminder for the new regime that not everyone automatically know that we have a bar or an after match party.
You obviously don't read many of my posts if you think I'm the sort that just likes to slag off the club. You've got it wrong this time mate.
Oh and how friggin difficult would it be to have a poster at the turnstiles telling people what goes on? I'm not talking about anything that would take a lot of work, just a simple schedule of events.
We are not Wigan or Leeds that can just take someones money off them for 80 minutes of rugby league and send them home (sadly).

Nothing personal geezer. Timing wise it just reads like another pop at the club.
Is this a recent occurence? How many games has it been happening for? Let us know if there aren't any posters at the next game.
Did you know NRL clubs have people working purely on social media for them. A luxury we can't afford. I daren't suggest it as GF will be on the case.

Pesonally, I don't give a flying one if the NRL have 35 social media mangers per club...it has no standing when it comes to the Broncos and their inability to attract a crowd.
Veiled digs at my stance on the total fkkkkup that is marketing at the club don't work RB,,,,,in case you missd the meeting where it was agreed, I DON'T DO SUBTLE!
Matchday at the stoop was always one of the best in the league...a real selling point when it came to getting "neutrals" to come along, as the bands were always good and the craic was, as we say in Ireland, 90! Players mixed with fans, everyone got on and win lose or draw, a good time was had by all................fast forward to now and yet again, the ball seems to have ben dropped.......
1,500 on Saturday night anyone?
