We’ve not had much change out of them this season and the chaotic way the end of season fixtures have been scheduled means they won’t be easing off. Be interesting to see how this goes and would be nice not to finish last, but if we do then no complaints that is what we set up for and the team has developed across the season to become a competitive outfit which is a credit to Eccles and the team.

Fundamentally though, I’m more interested in what happens next week. Not in a good way but I suspect it’s all going to kick off and objectively it will be interesting to see what exactly we have done to the club and where, if anywhere, we go from here.

I think it is going to be one of the most painful close seasons we have had. All the worse as we are stuck on the sidelines with little information being provided by the club, just like this season.

I can see the point of Meadows in the Alps, they have lots of pretty flowers in summer & provide good grass for the cows. Can't on the other hand see any point in Meadows on a rugby pitch.

In fairness I assume the plug was pulled on the team a few weeks back. They’ve done really well to put in strong performances for last few weeks knowing at least half the team is in real terms done. Against a good and motivated Warrington side it’s a game too far. Shame.
