| Good idea itsmeagain. Bit of a play on the song but we can post all helpful ideas here & the club steal them as their own if they wish.

| When ML mentioned the exciting news, he said the future of the club would become clearer. I feel more in the dark than ever. Share the plan with us etc

| I think we have enough evidence from our own history to know what is most likely to work:
1. Have a competitive team (preferably in SL)
2. Provide a full match day experience
3. Promote the club

| And therein lies the problem Buzz, we don't have a team that will secure SL even though it may be better with both Sammut & Aston in the side so no amount of points 2 & 3 will work.
On that basis, it might be better to delay the move to Wimbledon until next season. Would still require the owner to stump up the money for a better team. If it does go ahead this year then they need to get as many AFC fans in free as they can (despite what Northernbloke thinks). Put on the after match party if ground regs allow & introduce them to how it used to be. They may come back, they might not (@ £25 a big ask) but just playing the game would be pointless. Having a beer while watching a game has great novelty value to football fans.
Of course the big fly in the ointment is the owner, CEO & Commercial thingy seem devoid of any communication skills. Or, it's just us they don't like.
Maybe we should set up our own supporters group The Non Official Broncos Supporters. My mates would say I've always been 1 of those. Lol.

| Bit of a serious note here, I actually think the Broncos was on the upward path (slow path) in the Trailfinders years, we seemed to be going in the correct direction, and even though we got relegated, I think we would have rebuilt in a couple of years and had another tilt at SL, if we had chosen not to move and if covid had not hit.
Problem now is we have chosen to move before the on-field product is ready, and our squad is not strong enough to even make playoffs.... I am really not looking forward to 500 fans (if we are lucky) in a small section of one of the stands in Wimbledon, seeing 90% of the seats around us completely empty.....

| You said on page 10 of the Halifax thread:
Maybe we should have our own little club -, there must be plenty of us removed from the club for comments they dont like. Not offensive just general helpful comments they dont want to take on board
If I misunderstood what you meant then apologies.

| The post match band in the bar and the bouncy castle and organised games for the kids was a big draw back at the Stoop.....I know its another outlay but if it brings in more support thats got to be worth it......All those discussions about the game and watching some of our long time supporters poggoing across the floor will stay with me forever!

There are 2 within spitting distance of PL but so small you'd risk life & limb trying to put a flower in the middle.

One of my favourite memories in the Kings Bar was Mark Butcher randomly appearing with his band. Was a brilliant atmosphere post-game.

Beers before during and after the game used to be a fun part of the match day experience....now they are required on a medicinal basis to get you through the pain of watching an average side in the 2nd tier.
To answer the original question.
You can't solve a problem until you admit you have one.
The Problem the Broncos have starts with the word Mister and ends with the word Hughes. There are plenty of ex-pat northern Businessmen and ANZAC investors in the London Region, but nobody will touch the club whilst Hughes is there and certainly nobody will give him a brass farthing for the "husk" he has created. His intransience to anything he doesn't either understand or agree with has created a toxic club that has seen fans leave in their thousands and his apathy towards that exodus displays an arrogance that he believes money solves all problems.
Hughes Leaves. The club goes part-time and inside 10 years you'll have a mid table Championship side with 1,500 fans. If in that period some other investor comes along and sees the potential, you may see a tilt at SL inside that decade, but as it stands now, with Hughes at the helm, the club are deadwood.
Oldham must fancy their chances in a fortnight!
