That's a decent starting point for a squad. Nice to get a few more signed up (I'm thinking Cunningham, Spencer, Butler, Battye, Api, Pitts, Harrison, Sammutt, Dixon, Meadows) not too much to ask!!!!

Just a gut feeling, not based on anything, but I would not be surprised if we lost Api.
Sammut, is an interesting one, I know the talk of Toronto, again gut feeling, but I doubt he will go there especially if they make it into SL. I hope he sticks with us.
Others listed I hope they get contracts sorted soon, that’s assuming we stay with a full time squad.

I guess a big factor could be if players are settled. Not wanting to uproot. Unless they switch to Union there is nowhere else to go down here. Of course, as said that all depends on us stumping up the money to pay them would might be touch and go

I'm not too fussed about Api tbh - good player but misses half of every season with injury. He probably takes a decent wage too, so I'd be looking elsewhere.

Cunningham, Sammut and Battye would be 'must haves'. The rest are all welcome back.

Can't believe I missed off Pitts!

Was something in League Express saying that extensions would be announced soon. I suppose the one issue is that if we miss the middle 8's the funding gap made up by David Hughes becomes greater.

Apia think will leave, he almost did at the end of last season. This is a shame, but if he does leave need to sign a creative stand-off/centre, otherwise everything falls on Sammutt. Hope he stays!
