Marwan left them knowing they had an outstanding debt of 2mil owed to the council, the repayment has been deferred, but they still owe it. So the handover to the “fans” actually was marwan seeing a big bill and going “nah not for me”
It would be interesting to see if any of there players are up for grabs, problem is prising them out of Manchester to come to London.
When they are in the middle 8s it will be interesting If they find any money to bring players in to bolster there squad

Given our performances I am not sure bringing in new players is a sensible/good option? We have Kam-Paul Beinek who are not making the squad, and Kear and others coming back from injury/surgery, so why disrupt a squad that is winning?

I would rather hold on to any money and spend it, if a real marquee player comes available when we move to the 8's?

Agree. We should only get players if / when we need them. Atm we don't need to improve the squad, so keep the funds until such time as we do.

Bit of a change of tune! Beginning of the season folk were saying we were a bit thin on number, nothing has changed we are still a bit thin so if anyone with ability was available and fancied some time away from the north east then we should grab them. Rather have a couple of spare bodies, competition for first team place is good. Waiting until you need them tends to be to late.

I agree, if they are available and we can get them now do it. Waiting until we may need them could backfire as there may not be anyone available then. Said before the season started HB and Hooker are a worry and nothing has really changed my mind. While we have made a great start there is along way to go and I just hope injuries dont scupper us

They beat Rochdale by a point last night. They really aren't impressing this season.

Must be hard for them playing all these away games in a row, being on the road constantly takes its toll on the players, away from home and family.
