I thought the rumour was he has turned down a new deal (although there was also a rumour he was waiting on his partners visa).

Eddie Battye can be struck off the rumour list, he has signed on for another year.

EB isn't on the list unless I'm missing something

Curious about Lovell, since he was on trial pre-season but not kept on. Why would Hendo be keen now?

Lovell was injured during his trial was he not? They then appeared to keep him on as backroom staff doing community work during his recovery. I did then see a video shared on Twitter a couple of months ago of his return to running with a big group of the staff watching him. He would be a good young utility player to have around the place. When fit, I would have him in the squad over Purtell or Offerdahl any day of the week. I know he is a Second Rower, but he could easily fit in at Centre or even as a Prop if needed.
