Only two (Atkins and Mataitonga) are here and playing

The others (Slyney, Vea, Drinkwater, Farrar, Solomona) still to come.

Once all of these players are here and settled in and a return of Duckworth, Dollapi and at some point Dixon, the side will look a lot different (and on paper a lot better!)

I do think we'll be stronger in the second half of the season and whilst it is hard to be positive after two hammerings, I don't think relegation is a forgone conclusion and the side and fans need to remain as upbeat as possible.

To my mind we're already better than last season.

Yep, we'll start to come good by mid-April, Rea's main task is to make sure the youngsters don't lose too much confidence or heart!

Does anyone have a link to what is classed as Federation and Non Federation and how many Non Fed we are allowed as im curious what Slyney is classed as as he has a british grandad?

You could see the heart and desire in the players, even when it didn't look likely they could come back and they scored next to the sticks, how good was it to see them fired up and back slapping.
I think they're already aware of the problems and are playing with the freedom of no pressure.
I think the reason they received the rapturous applause at the end was partly the heart they showed, partly the acknowledgement the fans and players know it's going to be tough so stick together and work through it together. The players genuinely appreciated it you could see.
At the end of the day as a fan of any club in any sport all you want to see are players leaving nothing on the field, if they work their hardest and still get beat you can forgive it.

Just had a look at the RFL operational rules re overseas players: Scroll down (a long way down) this page www.therfl.co.uk/the-rfl/rules/i ... section=C1 Can't see any of the stuff re Federation-trained etc that used to be there, controls appear to be based only on nationality and "Cotonou agreement" (Kolpak?) status. so have there been changes to the eligibility rules? Anybody?
