hi all, I read in League Express that Hemel will be playing Broncos U19's on Feb 8th. There was no time set with Troy Perkins quoted as saying he wanted an early kick off as it's the club's season launch dinner that evening (tickets still available to that if anyone's interested.....).
Be good if what remains of the Broncos fanbase could come along - it was a decent enough crowd last year but it'd be great if that could be bettered. Bummer that it clashes with Open Day Mark II at the Hive - although depending on the timing maybe some of you could do both - just a quick tootle down the M1 afterall.

kick off is at 1pm. Fiver in, concessions £3,kids free. Perhaps a few of the first team squad will turn out too

[i"We were originally planning to play a London Broncos Under 19 side but I have spoken to Tony and asked him if he could include as many first team players as possible and he has very kindly agreed to do that, it is a big favour they are doing us as he obviously does not want any players picking up injuries just before the season starts. Not a game apparently. Training session and as Underhill has no safety certificate, closed to the public. Don't waste your time going to watch as will be behind closed doors.

FT: Stags 26-6 Broncos(?)U19's

I have never, ever been so cold and wet after a game of RL. The rain & sleet were horizontal at times even in the seats at the top of the stand! If we put on some 'first-team players' I missed them and our handling was as shocking as the weather...BUT... as we are such a new squad I doubt I'd recognise many of them anyway as we played in the old black MKK kit with just numbers on the jerseys. Hemel really deserved their victory and good luck to them this season. Certainly worth the fiver's admission price despite the weather.
