What role will Tony Rea and possibly Longy have at the club then? If only "the club" had some way of talking to people using the internet or emails.

Rea will be head coach, Long will be assistant. I thought that was already made clear by the club?

It baffles me that Hughes can continue to allow this man to have a job. As Roy Haggerty alluded in another thread, he's responsible for our near extinction.

He's a tainted, negative presence at the club and Hughes has to be aware that his continued role puts a lot of people off.

There must be a county cricket side daft enough to take Gus on.

Kent are always toying with bankruptcy can't we send him there.

How can someone who makes continual mistakes and breaks the backbone of a club keep his job. How can DH allow this to continue, what is he afraid of, why do you keep the worst person at the club and get rid of the best like Phil Jones and a few others. The people that McKay got rid of had pride and commitment but these two remaining jokers are beyond belief. Oh well roll on another less than medicore season. The sad thing is we will all turn up hoping for improvement

Not while nothing changes, I think a fair few are in the same boat.

Given that he is going to be CEO for the season at least and that it increasingly looks like David Hughes is our backer and TR out coach, what could be done to get you and the others to maybe come back on board?
Genuine question by the way. I believe that there are 1,000 or so core supporters including 600 ST holders and 400 regulars/"quite-oftens" and in this group there are maybe 150 fanatics, of which I would include you and the other usual suspects.
The 150 are key to this working in 2014.....if you accept that Gus is there for the year, what could be done to get you more actively involved with the club. PM me if you don't want to discuss this on an open forum, but I am keen to find out exactly what needs to be done to re-engage the fans with the club.
I don't mean club colours/badge etc....I mean what can the club do to get you back to the level of involvement from a few years back?
