According to the BBC, a man claiming to be the head coach of London Broncos, Tony Rea, late today uttered the following sentences:

"We have had a really progressive week and I am confident there are some good times ahead for this group."

"I was delighted with our effort and we were fantastic all the way through."

Wish I could have some of the gear TR is on I would be flying high.

He is delusional. Or a liar. Or both

Apparently not. Although in this instance there is some justification for the test being non-random.

It was an insight yesterday to see his face at times he looked a Defeated Man and that is what he is!

He has to say positive things sometimes, he can't bag them every week. It is psychology, he is trying to con the players into playing well. If heads go down further he will get nothing from them.

What you say publicly and what you tell theme privately are two separate things. Given our position I guess he's run out of things to say publicly. In patches we play great and then err stop.

Compared to the thoughts of a winning coach.

Wigan head coach Shaun Wane admitted his players "lacked consistency" after they left it late to snatch victory against a spirited Wakefield.

How come winning teams coaches still give them a rollicking when they don't perform well. Maybe the odd spray in public might make them wake up as treating them nicely certainly doesn't seem to be working.

Back in the pre-SL era Wigan beat Bradford 72 - 10 in the Cup At the next training session John Monie presented the Wigan players with a 20 minute video compilation of the mistakes they'd made.

Pop Pan is right...TR has blasted the players in the media on a few occasions and he is now taking the opposite approach.

He probably thinks that we haven't got enough quality in our squad but on the basis that he cannot change things at this juncture, he is not going to slag off players that are trying their best.

As for John Monie, don't get us started!.

And yet TR got rid of John Monie for poor results, despite JM complaining that he had a poor squad who he inherited. He then chose the players he wanted and he was pushed and TR took over the reins. Good job TR's not still CEO he'd have to sack himself

Good chance TR's record this year will be worse than JM's.

When you think of it, this club hasn't got a good track record with their choice and sackings of coaches.

Bring back Tony Currie
