Superb hat trick yesterday, probably the main reason for watching the Broncos this season! Remember being really impressed watching him as an academy player, really pleased to see him make the step up to SL with ease!

Is this a record? I can't ever remember a player scoring hat tricks in two games running. Even in season 1982-83 when we scored 167 tries and there were 6 hat tricks no one scored them in consecutive games. Well done Kieran!

Denis Moran was the last Bronco to score hat tricks in consecutive weeks. The first one came when he stepped off the plane from Australia (think he had been home during the week to a family funeral) came straight to the ground and scored the first one and the following week he scored another hat trick and if I am not mistaking was the highest try scorer in SL two years running but still did not receive the Man of Steel Award. I am sure there must be some of the longer standing fans who could name the two games - sorry I cant but I remember the excitement. Oh if only such elation still happened at games
