not sure if this has been mentioned on another thread but the club have a 'Fantastic Four' ticket deal for the remainder of the season - for £30 you can get into 4 of the remainding 6 home games, up to you which ones you attend.
This was announced over the tannoy at Gillingham yesterday, there was a full page ad in the programme & there was also another bit in the programme promoting it. How to get such a great deal? Ring the ticket office number.
I rang the ticket office this morning, went through the London Broncos menus and then sat on hold for a good 20 minutes. Eventually someone answered from the Harlequins who didnt have a clue what I was on about. "Fantastic what?" "What game is this for?". I explained and she went away only to return with the info that "yes,the Broncos are doing the offer but it isnt set up yet. Can you ring in the middle of next week and then it'll be set up"
Shambolic!

Typical, Ive always found it hard to get a ticket over the phone.

A club that struggles to attract fans sure does make it difficult to obtain a ticket.

Must say we've never had any problems with the ticket office (and the shop are always helpful, in my experience).

Couldnt get through to anyone on the phone today, tried a couple times, the recorded message mentioned booking online but i cant find anything about the deal anywhere on the site.

Although TBF, not knowing what the deadline is for the program they may have had to run the story hoping they could get it sorted in time - although how difficult can it be to send out 4 tickets to somebody.

How many full time staff do we have? everyone has had their moan about marketing,promotions and communication etc, it is reported that Tony Langenegger commercial manager has gone! followed by Imogen Gaunt!

It is so easy to be armchair critics! and yes we have problems, but we are talking about peoples lives and careers as well.

Seems everyone but the coach has gone. Strange how they have absolutely no scrupples about firing office staff but RP can can on regardless and he is the one doing the real damage

Sold no boxes, sold no shirt sponsors, sold no new bumbs on seats....commercial and marketing managers gone......club in turmoil.......no direction on or off the pitch. Maybe the intern is being groomed to take over as CEO....... icon_lol.gif

Simply put, if staff are in short supply, a system should be put in place where those that want a 4 pack can email the club and the club will respond with a call from the ticket office to take and process the order. As darth has said......they ain't gonna sell out in a hurry........

It doesn't matter how many staff you have,if you make a sales push & advertise it but then ensure either your call isn't answered or if it is then you get through to a rugby union club & in the event you do get to talk to someone who knows whats going on you get told to ring back in 10 days then its a very very bad way to present yourselves.
As for commercial & marketing staff going,to ring up to get legends lounge places & have the phone answered without mention of who they are or the name of the club...poor.

I only offered a solution because I am apparently 100% negative all the time. What some people forget is that the off-field stuff going on at the moment is nothing new.....I could see it coming, so could a great many others.......but it's apparently fashionable to have a go at my posts now rather than the club.

Fact is, you are of course 100% right Bongo......to promote something and then not be able to deal with response, no matter how much of a trickle it is, is 100% cast iron fU(I(ing insanity!

If the 2 staff have walked or if they were pushed, there is again evidence of no plan "B".
