| Chatted about this to a few guys in London who all seem to think its commen sense to move to East London where the game could potentially be a hell of a lot more popular.

| Based on what have you come to such an authoritive conclusion?
It was always going to happen as soon as Orient was mentioned. What if Watford is the next ground- Will you be suggesting something similar with regards to unresearched nonsense-Just a thought

| The only draw back with the Broncos moving to East London is having to force feed people at half time jellied eels or pie mash and liquer. this would be one of the franchise requirements.

| I do feel that East London is an area we will seriously consider if we ever do move, which must be on the agenda.

| It is the one area that has not been tried in our peripatetic history. There is nothing here but soccer and it has the best transport links in London. Once again it is all down to marketing, have we got the budget to sell it. We could be the Walford Wanderers!

Plus you have a number of AM clubs in west London who have won things at the national level.
But the main thing is to get our own ground and not be tenants, If we can get that in east London and not west London then I'm for it

| It could work, but so could anywhere in London potentially. I would like it as it moves nearer to me but the bigger picture is it should only be considered if it has more advantages than the stoop or wherever else we could play. certainly take an on the road game there and if it's successful play another one or two there next year.
As for the amateur teams in the area, they are established now, they won't all disappear if the club moves, which it looks like it will. If anything it means London RL are actually leaving a legacy for once. Then wherever they move to east north or south, the current and new teams in them areas can be nurtured a bit more. The two most "successful" or well established other London teams are north of the river (Skolars and Hemel) so teams can work without the broncos as a neighbour.
If we can get our own decent ground though I wouldn't mind which part of London it's in as long as its accesable by tube

| Will there be anything left from the Olympic Legacy that could be adapted to say a 12,000 ground?

It is only a temporary build Paddock Punter, after the Olympics it will move North of the Olympic Park to Eton Manor there it will become 3,000 permanent seating and possibility of 15,000 temporary.

And it's going to be very much a dedicated hockey stadium with a royal blue artificial pitch! So no chance of using that one.
Presumably that will leave a stadium sized "brownfield" site on it's initial location at Stratford, but I'm assuming that will already have been earmarked for housing or something?
As one or two people have already commented, I don't think it would make a huge difference which quarter of London a potential ground is, as long as it's a dedicated rugby league ground of suitable size with our club as the sole (or primary) tenant, and has decent public transport links. (Preferably as close to Central London as possible, not stuck out near the M25.)

| You have the Copthall Stadium in Mill Hill discussions going on with Saracens and Barnet FC, but there seems to be a lot of local outrage at that, only the fans of both clubs want it, everyone else fighting it.
Underhill could be knocked down and redeveloped and if it ever was would be a good option, currently though it has a lovely sloping pitch and only a 6k capacity.
The Whitehart sports centre is no good as it's too small, a bit of a dump and home to The Skolars. Everywhere else is just too big, even Craven Cottage at 25k, small in football but huge in RL, QPR's is workable at 18k but a bit dated, it will be up for sale if QPR get their way on a new stadium but would it be affordable.
Griffin Park would be ideal if money could be invested in to the stadium to modernise it and having joint ownership.
Orient have an ideal stadium for Broncos and the traffic links are decent enough.
