A bafflling signing from a WTW perspective; we scouted him, signed him, imported him with all the attendant administration that entails, and when he arrived, he turned out to be about 3-4 stone overweight and desperately unfit. Despite that, we paid him, accomodated him and managed his conditioning regime to get him somewhere near a SL player. Just when he looks like a good off-season will see him rippping it up next season, we release him to you lot.

He looked massive (in many senses) during our game against them - or at least he certainly stood out for me. If he can stay in shape, given the sheer size of the bloke he could do some damage. Intriguing....

Never saw anything but an overweight bench prop when he was playing with the dogs, and to tell you the truth I'd forgotten he'd signed with Wakefield.

I will reserve full judgement until I see what he looks like after the off-season.

Could this mean that Karl T. has not signed then?

I Assume he hasn't, although he has been selected for the Jamaican squad for the World Cup qualifiers

No little about him so not sure how good a signing he is (hopefully very good). Comments noted from Wakefield fan. A look back at the Bulldogs site when he left also has mixed comments/praise. Certainly a big lump who seems to like his grub, but hope he is not another Dave Mills/Karl Pryce i.e. all size and no aggression. Anyway, welcome Jarrad, lets hope you will be knocking them down like skittles next season...........and steer clear of the burger van!!!

Cant say I am overwhelmed with Hickey signing but we are short on props so if they can get him anywhere near fit he may be useful. The last prop they were talking to in Aus unfortunately decided on retirement but at least he didnt come over here for a few games and a bit of a holiday and then took off

I don`t know how to post pictures on this site but take a look at the `After`picture of Hickey on the Wakefield site thread (there is a link to an `Express` article) and compare it to the Quins web site `Before` picture...........hope Rob Powell is up for the challenge

Done jilch at Wakefield this year good luck with him you need it I fear.
