| It's farcical in August we don't know what the club will be called next year.
At least the Harlequins link up was signed and announced by this time in 2005.
So I'm not holding my breath for season tickets. Once they've picked the name and colours out of their s, they need to design a logo and print the leaflets.
Unless you buy a season ticket for “the club formerly know as Harlequins Rugby League”.

| If they tell us they are playing at the Stoop what the hell does it matter what they are called-It will be a RL team playing in SL as it is now.
Unless the name matters to you of course. I couldnt care less as long as 13 get on the field!

| It matters if we are trying to promote the club and attract new supporters and season ticket holders.
Unless you feel our current supporter base is sufficient to provide the club with a sustainable future without having to rely so heavily on a single investor (i.e. David Hughes) of course.

The name doesn't matter but but quality of the players does. They also need to decide which parts of the ground they are going to sell season tickets for.

| Ah so we are not happy about the fact we are not going to be the Harlequins next year! Personally i dont care that the season tickets for next season are not available yet. ffs the season has not ended yet.
Have we ever announced the new season ticket offers before the prvious season has finished
As for the Hudds offer! £50 for first 2000, we would never sell any tickets above that price.
I am more than happy to wait for the "Relaunch" of LONDON RUGBY LEAGUE and lets crack on from there
Lets just hope they try and do it properly, a decent launch in a decent venue with a good press package
and lets get a decent link up with the E Standard
Besides if they announced the tickets now! who would bother

| I'm far more unhappy about another name change than "not being Harlequins next year".

Yes, the Broncos did at Brentford.

| Just cause you hand over your card details today doesnt mean you will walk away with a season ticket in your hand!

| What's the point in buying a season ticket, you can get into most of our games free somehow, and sit where you like.

Yes to those who are loyal and are currently season ticket holders, but to start any marketing campaign without the new name is a no goer! and quality players will not mean a lot to them it will be winning on the pitch that counts as well as the match day experience and most important COST!

| For once I agree with jaybs.
Imagine you are a new fan, oh what's that? Season ticket, very cheap? That could be worth a punt. I'll just go on the website and buy it, err, wait what are they called? How do I get on the website if I don't know the name of the club?
etc etc
Yet another reason why name change is a bad idea.

| The sad thing is the survey closed a few weeks ago....yet no further communication has come out to help them narrow down the option on new name. They should have at least got a short list of 4 or 5 names and worked out what the favourite colours were for a playing strip by now. Surely it can't be that hard to get the next wave of communication and opinion out there to fans??? It's just gone dead...since the SL licence announcements and Gus saying we're defo changing name and strip we've had nothing at all.
The Giants offer of £50 for the first 2000 season tickets is great and we should certainly follow that idea...maybe only first 1000 though - as they have to try and make SOME money.
Come on Quins or whatever we should call them after this season.....get your ar5e is gear and drip feed some info and get the next wave of consultation underway!!!

| why not just open the whole ground for season ticket holders, one price sit where you want, saves that discussion with the stewards about which side of the steps you can sit, then just ignore when you get up there
The free tickets may have backfired a bit this year, as it does not encourage folk to buy in advance for next year if you think you can get a load of games free next year
we do need to know "who" we are going to be next year and where we are going to play, as in any games "on the road" which could effect peoples decision
