simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

No it is not 'good stuff' as by having it on a Wednesday evening anyone with any distance to travel will not be able to make it. Why can't we have it before a home game as we did last year?

I guess one possible reason is because Purdham and McDermott would not be able to be there if they were preparing for the game?
I know we are all frustrated, but I hope no one is too tough on poor David Hughes. All he's ever done is tip money into the club and take up the cudgel when no one else has been prepared to - there probably wouldn't be a club at all if not for him.

David Hughes is the man who stands between QRL and oblivion please don't pi$$ him off. If he goes it all goes down the pan.
He is a nice guy and with Charlton in the doo doo we need to be nice to him.

| There have been plenty of well attended mid week ones before, hopefully they’ll do what they’ve always done and mix it up a bit, some on weekends, some mid week so as to allow playing/coaching staff to be present.

| Fans Forum
As already mentioned there is going to be a fans forum on 6th May at the Cabbage Patch pub. It is hoped as many fans as possible will make it as there will be a number of issues to discuss. It needs to be mid week due to David, Brian and Rob’s attendance. They cannot give fans their full attention on a match day as they obviously have other responsibilities. Food will be available. Paul will host the evening. The club realise everyone cannot get there mid week whilst other fans cannot get to a forum prior to a game and therefore it is hoped the next one can be prior to a game. The forum will be fully reported on the website and in the programme. Hopefully as many people as possible can get there and information relayed to those who can’t.

Whilst I fully agree that DH is the reason we have a club, I still think questions need to be asked and I will attempt to be there to ask them. As for upsetting him...don't make me larf. He is a successful businessman and I doubt a couple of questions regarding small attendance figures and marketing activity will bother him.

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| Gutterfax can attend if he agrees to be bound and gagged throughout the proceedings.

Kinky
Can't see the harm in asking how the marketing strategy is going......after all, it is important for the future of the club that we get the average age down and the average gates up.
I promise not to upset the nice Mr Hughes (especially with Mac sat beside him)

er....because we aren't getting any younger. I don't want the stand full of Chavs, but let's face it, compared to other clubs, we hav a pittiful amount of teens to early 20's at our games.
The history of the game dictated that Fathers and Grandfathers introduce the young'uns to the game and that's where we fall down....
My daughter (now in NZ) attended every game when we were at GP and even visited Knowlsley hole for the play offs. If she was still here she would be at the stoop for home games and as it is, still asks how "The Quins" are doing every time we speak.
The St Mary's tie in gives us a massive opportunity to get a younger audience through the gates. I am sure I remember Hudds being given a hard time for giving free tickets to their sponsor.....but now look at them. They will average 10k+ this year......a lesson can be learnt from them I believe.

May be we are sitting at the opposite end of the East stand, because on Sunday at the south end there were many many kids of all ages from about 2 to 18, i'd say 30% were kids.
May be instead of charging kids £5 we wshould let them all in free? I would support that!
