| This was posted at totalrl.com (not by me). I have no way of knowing whether this is true or not but it would tend to go along with players not having their contracts extended.
There is not much to sell though. So it may take a shrewd investor or they may not find one at all.
Should the Broncos not find a suitable buyer, then the RFL will purchase the club, eject them from the league and drop them to Champ 1. '"

The club has been up for sale since IL buggered off to Wigan.....nobody is interested in buying it.

True but if the quotes above are true then there seems a bit more to it. If nobody will buy DH out then effectively he's out.
Just a rumour I know just wondered if anyone has heard anything.

| I wonder if when DH decides to sell his car he smashes it into a lamp post and sets fire to it first.

| I picked up on rumours of a short notice meeting between the club and RFL last Thursday which, if true, may be relevant.
I can't quite see why David would want to bung another million or so down the drain next season sadly. It's going to be an interesting few weeks.

it's over......
Personally I don't blame any individuals, but I have to temper my thanks to Mr Hughes for the ride with a comment about his inability to take decent advice.....he is a very proud man and as in most things that have a "pride" element, a fall is involved.

| Even though it would be unfortunate for the club to be relegated, maybe it would mean that RFL would try and find a permanent home, go back to its traditional colours of red, blue and yellow, replace that awful logo,
And then maybe it will start feeling like a club again..... And bring the fans back.

| Now, in the Crusaders' programme yesterday the club's CEO said that it now looked like reorganisation was going to be option 3, which would mean dropping down to the Championship might not be that bad. Are the powers-that-be in the RFL hatching a cunning plan?

| After saturday I just hope that all this discussion of a move to Gillingham is killed off. London should be in London although I fear for LB who IMHO are a spent force both on and off the pitch.

| Gus has already said that London Broncos has got to be in SL or nothing.
This club couldn't function as a Championship club...it just looks that way on the pitch!

| It just seems like a club being run down! there is not the heart or spirit in it currently, we have knock backs, we have had many previous moves, all which I blame the RFL for is they were willing to buy Odsal to Save Bradford, then back when we first left Fulham why did the not put in some investment, looked for grants which were around then and purchased land and built a RL Community Stadium?
We should have realised that the Rugby Football League could never take expansion serious, look what they did to Gateshead to ensure that Hull could survive? and then the same with Sheffield to do the same for Huddersfield with their licence? and how far have Huddersfield progressed? they have found success on the pitch bit off it attendance have dropped! to think this is the home of rugby league? Sheffield Eagles are now attracting attendance much better than many well established Northern Clubs and those in Cumbria.
If we are kicked out of Super League, then it is the end, it will be then interesting to see what happens to the Skolars and Hemel sadly I'm not that convinced it will work.
Rugby League can then go back to being a Northern sport with just an handful of clubs that break the 10,000 mark and the rest forever struggling, which major sponsors will they attract then? will it be the same attraction for TV? how long will they put up with Catalan, it will be moans about the travel. Next with lack of money it will force clubs to perhaps return to semi professional except a few?
What a sad state of affairs, I never rated Maurice Lindsay but I totally Respected his vision for the game, his enthusiasm which he was able to sell to Murdock, but after he and Rathbone once interviewed me for a post I knew he did not have what was needed to carry it off completely, its the same now with Wood, though many say he was not good as then a club secretary at Halifax.

| I'm afraid your'e being too pie-in-the-sky here. The RFL have never owned a stadium in their history so why should they have started in the 1980s with Fulham?
I'm a big supporter of London RL having watched Fulham from the start during the 19 years I lived in the city. However, the RFL have tried hard to support the London club, although never actually putting cash in ( even though many die-hard Northern fans remain convinced they have 'poured millions' into London ). Catalans will work but is arguably not an 'expansion club' at all: that part of France has always been 'Treiziste'. The frequent ground moves for London have not helped at all. It's sad that at a time that the club is finally producing a good crop of youngsters it coincides with a feeling of total drift, with no clear future.Playing performances like Saturday's are even understandable given that none of the players can have any idea what the future holds.

| The RFL bought Odsal - apparently to help the Bulls - and rented it back.
