Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 - Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader. Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward. Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I? Update on Quins Mogs :- Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo. Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas. Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9. Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg

As a QRU ST holder, I got a nice e-mail a couple of weeks back generally bigging our game up and encouraging RU fans to try watching our code.

They invited fans to come to the Wakey game and said that if anyone decided to get a RL ST, the cost of the Wakey game would be deducted from the price.

Pretty good stuff from the marketing team.

Now all we've got to do is win the game, be our usual noisy selves and some may be inspired to come back.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned before.

Yes I got that e mail also from Jon Salinger
As you say it was very positive about RL

Funnily enough I got a second version from a fellow dual code season ticket holder
which was identical apart from the whippet with the pastel coloured quartered
jacket and identical flat cap.

Anyone know if this promotion relates to just RU season ticket holders, or can anyone attending on Saturday take up the offer?

A decision on where I will be based for the next couple of years is coming up, and if I stay I will get the season ticket.

Now forgive my negativity here.

What you are saying is that if someone bought a ticket to come and see Wakefield (a game you lost) then spent either £325, £199, or £119 on one of the 3 season ticket options your club are offering then they got £30 £20 or £15 depending on where you sat for the Wakefield match off????

So if I had bought a £15 match ticket, then decided to purchase a £325 season ticket I would therefore ONLY have to pay Quins £310????????

Thats got to be one of the worst deals I have ever seen a club try and sell anyone. Ever.

It's a deal to prevent idiots like you buying a ST- For those with an IQ above that of an amoeba they will understand that if you apply the offer properly it is an attractive one

Right.

So imagine that I came to see the Wakefield game. First time at a Rugby League match. I paid £15.

So I enjoyed it so much I decided to buy an expensive season ticket for £325.

But Harlequins being the generous outfit they are gave me a whopping £15 quid off because I came to see Wakey.

So I only paid £310.

So now I can come along and see all 13 home games (plus a bit of money knocked off the Magic weekend if I want to go to Edinburgh)

£310 divided by 13 games....thats £23.84........per game

So why don't I just carry on paying my £15 every time I turn up???

Thats only £195 a season...So I save myself over £100 by NOT going for the season ticket

You are right, its a cracking deal innit d040.gif

You really are thick. Do you really and I mean really believe the £15 seat you pay for at the gate is in the same section of the ground as the £300 gold season ticket seats-before you respond just think it through

If you need assistance look here

I just thought maybe I was being a little harsh by that last breakdown of my 'Gold' season ticket.

so I looked at all the other stuff that goes with it.

Lets see........

- Your ticket will be valid for every regular season Super League home game
- 50 yard line RESESEVED seating
- Free car parking for all regular season Super League home games and Carnegie Challenge Cup home games
- Exclusive invitation to a pre-season event with players and coaches
- 50% off the Magic Weekend
- Post match access to Jesters Lounge
- Free ticket to 4th round Carnegie Challenge Cup - home and away
- 10% discount to End of Season Awards Dinner
- 2 complimentary tickets to the first home game of the season for friends and family to enjoy the season opener
- U16’s Free home and away challenge cup 5th and 6th round entry
- Plus a great range of supporter offers and discount vouchers for you to enjoy throughout the season

Reserved seating...so if I get a cr*p seat...I cant just go and sit somewhere else (well I can...because the place would be 3/4 empty anyway)

Free car parking for home games ....if I got one of these tickets the chances are I would live in London anyway so I would get the bus or tube. If I drove I couldnt have a few beers before during or after.

Exclusive invitation to a PRE SEASON event with players and coach?? This offer of £15 off applies if I went to the Wakey game...so the 'pre season' event has already happened?

50% off the Magic Weekend. Maybe...but I guess I still have to pay to go to scotland?

Free ticket to 4th round challenge cup tie...maybe I am working that weekend?

10% discount to end of season awards dinner.... I shudder to think how much a ticket to that costs...and I bet the food is nothing special anyway

2 complimentary tickets to the first home game of the season.....errrr hang on....this game has already happened right?

U16's free home and away challenge cup entry.... I'm actually over 16 and my kids are 4 and 7. and they would sooner be watching Hannah Montana anyway.

Great range of supporter offers and discount vouchers......for what?????!!! Thats what ebay is for............

Harlequins. You must try harder. MUCH harder. eusa_wall.gif

Of course not.

but say I paid £15 because I was new to RL and didn't know if I would like it, then decided I did....but thought that my £15 seat gave me a poor view of what was going on so I thought I'd go for a more expensive one?

So I still only get £15 off my expensive all singing all dancing season ticket....and half the extra stuff they offer wont be valid anyway...because the first game has already happened?

Try and convince me this is a good deal again....because I can't see it........
