I have never seen the point in the Magic Weekend, it's only an additional skew to the fixture list & rarely, if ever, packs out a ground. Not sure what is magical about that?

I believe that Sky like it.And it gives those at the RFL a chance to pat each other on the back and say what a good job it is that they are doing.
I too agree it is a bit of a nonsense.

When was magic weekend last played in the south? I would have thought taking it to the Midlands might have been an idea. I agree it is past its sell by date.

That sounds right. Shame about Parata, he’s picked up a couple of head knocks this season which will be a worry.
