| The campaign is here. Leaflet drops in the Local Area with 50% off Ticket prices for both the Dewsbury and Newcastle matches.
The sections to keep an eye on are 107, 108 and 109 where the reduction applies.
109 tickets currently sold in those sections for Dewsbury. 30 for Newcastle.
Should at least give a guide as to whether there is any uptake.

| I booked 2 tickets in 108 for me and my dad as it was the community section, but at full price (well one adult and one concession)

It’s good to hear they have done this.Yes it’s pretty basic and surprisingly late in the day but let’s hope it has some impact. One problem is after Sunday we have an evening match, which is an oddity, and then nothing for weeks so it’s difficult to build momentum even if making competent decisions. Really difficult to see light at the end of the tunnel.

| Actually one more thing. Is it me or is anyone else thinking that the Season Ticket turned out counter intuitively to be a terrible financial decision!

I'd think most tickets sold in those sections are currently at full price like yours.
In terms of trying to get locals attending, they probably have two windows. This pair of matches and the Summer Holiday season. Whether its enough I'm not sure. A lot of people's first awareness that the Broncos are in town will be these flyers. But is that enough. I think in the Summer they need to advertise the potential to win a meal out, theatre tickets etc just by attending. Plus make use of the outside space at the ground.

Absolutely.
You're local, but you've next to zero interest in rugby league (there is a fair chance you're not really aware it exists). But you're intrigued. Was rugby league that thing you saw on Channel 4 the other day because that was fantastic? OK, we're in!
Then you check out our results this season...
Horse has bolted. (Feel free to make Bronco related jokes.)

Personally I think these 2 games are done in terms of getting big crowds it’s about damage limitation. I tend to agree they need to make a splash for the summer games a mini re-launch. However, the fly in the ointment is by then the season (and club) could be over.
A 2nd problem is what game do you target? The most obvious is the tranche of July games but the problem is they could be really messy and then we just repeat the misfire we saw at the Widnes/Haven games. I suppose we could try counter-balancing the poor fare on offer on pitch with some effort off it. Beer festival/ kids zone/ meet and greet/ music I don’t know but it might generate some interest and positivity.

Unfortunately, that's where we are. Offer cheap tickets where the least appealiing thing - almost an afterthought - is what's happening on the pitch.

One constructive thing we could do is have a kicking competition. Whoever wins takes any conversion attempts (probably won’t be many but let’s be fair this season we haven’t looked like we could hit a cow’s with a banjo so a competent replacement would be a win).

Back in the day, if you were successful you won a car. What would you choose: Broncos contract or a hatchback? (I'd go for the hatchback.)

| As of 9.30am NZ time Friday Morning
109-107 showing 113 sold
106 showing 132 sold
105 showing 86 sold
104 showing 12 sold
103 showing 64
102 showing 86
101 showing 29
522 tickets sold.......
Couple of things....
1. Well done the club. Late, they may be, but leaflets need to be dropped every bluddy week to have any impact, so let's hope they have a plan to keep this activity up.
2. Counting 109-107 and evaluating "uptake" is a false activity. 107 is normally the 2nd most popular section anyway after 106 and a lot of fans would have picked this game to return as it represents the best chance of a win....but keep leaflet dropping.
3. Has anyone taken up the offer of an upgrade to the gold Lounge? If so...please take some snaps with your phone and show us how they other half live, because this area will be key to whether Hughes carries on ploughing money into the club.
522 sold by Friday morning makes me think 700 is about where we can expect to land after walk ups etc.....733 is what we got for the Rams in our promotion season, so further proof (if it were needed) of the folly that was the move to Wimbledon.
4. Has anyone who was banned on social media tried to contact the club? I asked publicly on Twitter if they'd consider lifting the Monkey Bans and haven't had any response....I still can't comment or even leave an emoji on Facebook....and thank christ Monkey is gone, because he's be apoplectic at the comments there after the Leigh game
This is D-Day for the club. We don't have the luxury of Dunkirk and a re-set.....if we lose this, then 25% of the regulars won't be back and we don't have any more than 500 of those, so crowds as low as 2021 will be on the cards by seasons end.....the team need to step up.

I contacted them via email a while back (I think when they were promoting the Bradford game) saying I would not come to a game until Twitter block was removed. No response.
