| Having spoken to the vast majority of the fans who turned up for our last home game of the season yesterday, we have inadvertently conducted the largest fan feedback session for many a year. I don't think there will be any surprises with what we found but it does speak volumes about us as a "tribe"
There is universal frustration about the silence. In fact many said it was at the very least disrespectful, although none were surprised!
The majority were happy to engage with the idea of a Supporters Trust. Standing up and being counted is an option!
No one (and I mean no one) has any faith in the current regime to deliver a sustainable future for this club. Most vehement were the opinions on Gus, and it seems David Hughes has lost the crowd now too.
Most believed we should be in South West London, whether that be to stay at the Stoop or return to Brentford.
Some thought a clean break in East London is an option.
The pride in the young talent coming through is massive.
Some I spoke to who I have great respect for and are long and passionate supporters of the Club in all its guises from Fulham on now think its too late. One said "if you could find a million you should spend it on something else!"
Having said that at least one person said they were in for a "few thou" if we could get this off the ground.
Barnet is a NO NO!
We really do have a great sense of humour in adversity!
Thanks again for your time yesterday. Whatever happens it was a great experience for us to speak to so many people with passion for our game and our club.

| Where did this survey take place?
Maybe we could take some solace from our opponents yesterday and look at where they were not too long ago.

Indeed. But they got a sugar daddy who was a real business man.The cost of living in Hudds as well as its location to other clubs Up North means that he can get the quality players if he uses his money wisely. We've been looking for someone like that for 30 years.

You should send this summary or something similar to the club. However I would expect it to be ignored.

You give Gus to much credit, he would not know what to do with useful information like this!

1649_1338292262.jpg I have followed the LONDON CLUB since I was in my teensl even though born in St Helens and still live nearby and went to the first game at Fulham, also Big West Ham Supporter:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_1649.jpg |

There is no denying the success on the pitch, and perhaps with a coach whose position was was seriously questioned, when first appointed.
Solace, from a Giants point of view? I am unsure, with attendances so low, when top of Super League, a place were the modern game was started of Rugby League, and attendances around 5,500?
I do not believe, that we should stay in South West London, however much is spent on marketing I can't see it working, for me it is East End, and build in a community from the start, that may accept us more.

| What is interesting to me is that London's plight does not merit a single thread or even post on the Virtual Terrace. Or anywhere else I can find away from here.

| Because the club is in limbo and it will (probably) be weeks before anything is found out for 2014, has there been contingency plans for 2014 should the club cease to exist?

It doesn't matter, it's usually full of fools talking about how it's good for the game of rugby league and a true club can rise from the ashes that is the London Broncos and be truly competitive while attracting crowds that will be the envy of the football teams in the area.

| If London are to drop out of SL then the RFL need to announce it now, not any closer to the RLWC! No games in the capital other than the Big Bash so I wouldn't expect much media coverage in the first place, but this sort of bad news needs to be buried and fast.
Personally, I believe the club will be at the Hive next year in SL.........Propped up by a mixture of RFL and David Hughes cash....they will be one of the 2 that drop down and from 2015 the club need to build from the bottom up with no staff immune from hands on work (setting up on match day etc) and linking up with the community.
I will continue to follow them, but it is hard to say if I would be prepared to attend 13 home games in 2014 given the dross over the last few years.....it's more about seeing friends than the rugby.
Let's see what the Club and the RFL come up with....you never know, it might actually make sense

| To be fair to the RFL they can't announce anything about us yet as they are waiting on the club. The RFL have worked hard to find a way to keep us around next year. The ball now seems to be in our court to decide whether that is enough. Put simply whether David will stump up however much is required from him in the budget for next season.
Judging from what Tony Rea said the decision is imminent. I'm not aware of any RFL deadline to us but they'll need an answer soon as a home match vanishing has big implications for most teams in the league, not to mention Magic Weekend.

I don't see why DH needs to spend another penny really.
1.3 million in TV money will have to do......if we move to the Hive then matchday expenses won't be anything like the Stoop, staff can be pared back even further....if they can muster a 2k average paying a tenner a pop then there's 260k which should cover the ground.....pay the squad half the cap and you should have a few bob left for a bit of marketing and promotion. No need for "an office" so to speak.....cloud based technology and modern telecoms negate the need to have bricks and mortar. If the RFL want the good work done bringing the kids through to continue, then they'll need to finance that part of the club. Other than a busy CEO, who would need to work 60+ hours a week networking and maybe 1 full time administrative assistant, the rest of the back office could be part time.
Rammos squad has this team
5 Michael Robertson (FB)
2 Liam Colbon (WG)
24 Mike McMeeken (CE)
35 Harry Little (CE)
21 Kieran Dixon(WG)
28 James Woodburn-Hall (SO)
30 Mike Bishay (SH)
8 Antonio Kaufusi (PR)
26 Ben Fisher (HK)
18 Olsi Krasniqi (PR)
11 Shane Rodney (SR)
22 Will Lovell (SR)
32 Joel Wicks (LF)
17 Shane Grady (SR)
27 Erjon Dollapi (PR)
XX Oscar Thomas
31 Mason Caton-Brown (WG)
With the exception of a couple, they would have to take a wage cut........personally, if they aren't prepared to after the last few years of crap they've delivered, then good riddance to them.
1.3 sky money and say another 250k in ticketed revenue...that's what you have to spend......time to cut their cloth accordingly!

| The club can't do much about the wages of those already under contract realistically. Ultimately employment law is the final arbiter, not what we'd like to see.
I'm guessing, and stress guessing, the RFL would want a guarantee or bond to ensure we complete the season and honour our financial obligations. It might not just be money up front that David is looking at.
