They’ve got to try these things but I too am a little bit afraid this might prove a bit damp squib. London fans aren’t really based around one area in London and public transport is often up the spout on a Sunday. They’ve worked to try and encourage local families to attend but those local families have been from Wimbledon and the surrounding area I suspect and were heavily discounted and RP isn’t Wimbledon. We had a reasonable turn out when we met up just before Christmas last year.
It was a shame that we got kicked out of the pub, but it was a memorable evening for those that attended.
I'm going and the lads I watch matches with are going. We're using it as a springboard for a Christmas drink. Watching the team have a bit of a run out while enjoying an adult beverage and embracing the festive spirit is a win for me.
