The slow trickle of signings, a kit reveal, fan events! At least someone at the club has faith that we will have the money to run the club next year and at least satisfy our fixtures next year. Hope the trickle of signings speeds up a little bit though. How many do we have on the books now?

Im pleased we are signing players up. Suspect if we are in a position to sign a few from other clubs we’re probably in a reasonable position with some of the squad from last year and are holding back announcements. That means we probably do have 13-15 for the start of the season which I suspect isn’t too far off. The gap here is the flair players. Under Eccles I think we are a much stronger outfit and I’m not expecting a relegation dogfight but is anyone else getting a 2022 season vibe about all this?

I'm a little surprised that the Skipper hasn't re-signed or at least been announced & Walker as neither seem to have gone elsewhere. I'm not much of a fan of drip feeding names. If they've signed, get it out there, build some confidence in our remaining fans & flog a few more memberships or shirts as a result.

Not sure Walker will come back. Injuries may have caught up with him.

That’s a shame, he’s been a good player for us but I suspect when you are putting your body on the line the chance to get a few more games in the Championship for a bit of extra money is not so motivating. I suspect navigating an off field career with the demands of RL are difficult. Even the mechanics of getting across London to go to evening training twice a week must be a chore.

I suspect he will be the next announcement but I did wonder if his role will be player/assistant coach.

That's not a bad shout BT, but whether we need a more experienced person is another matter.
