I agree it does all look a bit of a mess. I don’t hate the old badge T-shirt, in fact I think it could be a good idea if done properly (this is rugby league so I won’t hold my breath). Now, I know David Hughes was a divisive figure and as a result of his actions, fans were lost and shed with every move. Now he’s gone, it could be a good time to re-engage with some lost fans and to try and entice them back and nostalgia is always a good way to go. A well done retro range, specifically aimed around certain periods like the 1996-1999 period could be a good seller. T-shirts incorporating the old badge or with old players, old quotes, old games (cup semi 99, Canberra etc) could be done and could be marketed well.

There are 2 reasons it has gone quiet at the Regus office in Richmond.

1. Loubser is in negotiations with a US Billionaire and as part if this, radio silence will be a precondition before we are relaunched as the London Lakers......or
2. Loubser is finding life without Dave paying his wages, a tad more realistic than he would like.



Fixtures are out in a few weeks. If London aren't in a position to garentee FULL participation in the season ahead, then i doubt anything other than the introduction of a "bye" weekend in the championship for 2025 being removed due to the even number of sides will be the big news scoop over at League Depressed.

The Championship AGM is likely to be the key date, not fixture release. That's when membership is confirmed. The league will expect London to confirm their intention / ability to fulfill 2025 prior to the membership vote.

Withdrawal after the AGM is likely to lead to a large fine - though whether there would be a club fo pay it may be a moot point.

On the change of entity, I like the idea but do think there should be some sort of Broncos related group that can continue the works that have been carried out over the years. Things like Heritage Numbers, Hall of Fame, sponsoring the academy etc are important.

As for the shirt, I like it. The training gear doesn’t look too bad either.

You can also add a number to the shirt for free.

If anyone spotted the message by the Gamecaller on X naming someone as in advanced negotiations to buy Broncos, the named person has now denied it.
