| I think the club have a better chance of rebuilding around the women's side. Focus on that and see what happens.

For a totally selfish reason as it is 5 minutes walk from my place but if the club were to start fresh maybe. have a look at this place.
https://www.imbercourt.com
it is a sports ground run by locals with a ready to go ruby pitch with a 700 seater stand and the nicest surrounding which could really benefit the club in entertaining families to get behind the game.Has a good bar, clubhouse and even has a permanent Dough shack pizza place in the car park which i am sure could be dragged around alongside the pitch. If the club were to flourish , there is scope to build on the site and even if the kids get bored there is a playground on site.
The local community really do get behind things that go on in and around the area and you also have Elmbridge Eagles down the road which is a good club with lots of different age teams and even a wheelchair rugby league team.
I am sure if you approached the owners they would even let you move the marquee gym onto site.the only problem being sometimes they hold festivals there in the summer but even has a over 35's discos every few motnhs that apparently do get a bit lively.
The ground even has two railways station less than a mile walk, Thames Ditton and Esher.

| That's a former Met Police sports club. The football and rugby teams (and possibly others) still play there.

| I see Goole will play in League 1 next year. I assume the Bèdford consortium was unsuccesful. I wonder if they might buy broncos and move the club to bedford?

| Very worrying. They must commit to the league soon yet discussions with investors are not at an advanced stage. Having driven away so many hardcore fans, they now have a business plan based around increasing fan revenue. In the Championship with far fewer away fans to assist revenues
Credit to those involved in the rescue attempt and I genuinely hope they succeed but...

It’s good to get some detail and to see they are trying to move things forward. I hope they succeed but the clock is definitely ticking.

| Has anyone here ever thought of, or reckoned at doing a Exeter City FC trust model?
It is a stupid idea as Exeter back when it was established had 4,000 crowds when we were in the , but could we as Brocs supporters do something smaller, but keep the club alive? A community thing without the community?
I mean pull our professional skills, and contacts together to start from the bottom, and build something?

the club is a basket case paying 3 wages, of which 2 are a waste of time.
sorry. but 30 million spazzed away is no reason for a thank you. 10% of that spent where i told them and we'd be a top 6 SL side.
Hughes killed us......he deserves no thanks. The fact his son got a job speaks volumes........
.....500 or fewer average next year....SL in 2 is a dream and totally a lie.
i have £500,000 in a UK bank that i cant get to at prwsent. I wouls rather give it to the inland revenue than Lobster........and ge is an accountant

| The Broncos actively targeted the one supporters body which may have been able to assist via the Trust model, ensuring it's effective demise.
Given the timescales there probably isn't time to stand up a Trust and gett it running a team next season. Trusts really need to be in existence before it hits the fan. Even if you had time, I suspect many of the leading contenders to step up were so badly scarred by their last efforts, they would find something else to do with their time.
