Quote: Benny Profane "For those of you that are actually at the ground, can you please go over to the commentary box and stick a sock in Kyle Amor's mouth.'"

No worries Benny. Next week we get to critique his teaching performance. “No disrespect to the big fella there but his whiteboard technique is all over the place. I’ll give him this he keeps going but he’ll never conjugate the verb unless he’s prepared to do the skills basics.”

On a separate issue this game is pony…..again…..sigh. This fxxxing season.

Wimbledon is fine as a ground. I would say much better than the Hive both in terms of facilities and transport. The main issue is it can't be used for a big chunk of the season.

Deffo better than the Hive but the inordinate length of time the ground is not available to us negates in my view playing there.

I'd still try to do a deal with Quins while they might be interested.

I’ll give you Brentford and Trailfinders - for me I think we played some of our best rugby at those venues. I was never at the Stoop in the first stint there, never really felt like home to me after leaving Griffin Park , which to me was a great ground. Maybe it’s just me, I never really took to the whole pastels thing.

I think under different circumstances we could have been OK at The Hive- was a decent size for us, plenty of room for parking, not too far a walk to the tube, north of London so easy access for visiting fans coming by road.
Second half of last season- when we started to get our act together PL has started to feel like home . I think it’s been good this season, some of the pastings we’ve had notwithstanding, as the crowds have been up and it seems like we’re settled there. I hope we can retain some of the new fans who’ve come along for next season, it’ll be a real shame to go back to just 500 or so in the one stand back in the Championship.

All well & good but you can't get away from the fact that we don't have a home, home game for 8 weeks or so which unhelpful.

Exactly- which is why I thought moving from a ground with an all weather artificial surface to a grass pitch at a football ground was a daft idea! It was a dead cert we’d be made homeless for the summer!
