Newcastle and Toulouse will be played at Ebbsfleet as Plough Lane doesn't appear to have been made available to the Broncos in the first half of July.

There is a (final?) opportunity to get momentum at Plough Lane. A nine weeks period as follows
- 6th August - Away
- 12th August - Wembley Final ! (it is realistically possible)
- 20th August - Halifax
- 27th August - Whitehaven
- 3rd September - Away
- 10th September - Widnes
- 17th September - Bradford
- 24th September - Keighley

6 matches in 9 weeks. A good set of opposition, no obvious stuffings. Two or three teams with good away followings. Nice time of year weather wise. A mix of school holiday and term time.

Find this an odd signing to be linked with tbh. Whilst I don't think we are in a position to turn anyone down and he'd bring some good experience, hooker isn't exactly a position we currently have a depth issue with. Unless Dean is heading out the door, which would be a massive loss.

Agreed, he's been fantastic for us.

Would probably suit that back-up/interchange hooker at SL level quite well. Not sure how much SL interest there has been in him previously, but he's certainly coming off the back of two very strong seasons for us. He's 31 now so maybe that ship has sailed and he has other priorities.

Dean's been playing loose forward this season.
He's a property developer outside of RL, probably making more money doing that than he could make in SL.

Has alternated between both positions this season, but yeah I get your point. I thought I'd read somewhere he was a PT, but either way I hope he's the next one we sign up.
