Late but handy signing. As everybody appears fit currently his late arrival shouldn't be an issue. Was an Interchange in the opening World Cup match and starting Second Row (a position of need) v Wales. Don't believe he played in the middle Group match nor Quarter Final. Looking at some of the other Championship line-ups we aren't as many players short as I thought. Problem is I have no idea of the quality of most of those players on the other teams. Calum Gahan was okay last year, but I'm a bit surprised he's part of a very small Toulouse squad.

Are TO full time?
If so might have had some bearing on Gahan signing for them.

Looks like he's played all over for the Hunters, prop, loose forward, second row and centre at various points. I'm guessing he'll play on an edge like you say, but he does seem to have some utility.
